B&G Surveying B&G Land Surveying is a professional Land Surveying firm centrally located in Austin Texas. Established in 1989, the company concentrates primarily on Title Surveys, Residential and Commercial Building and Land Projects as well as Elevation Certificates in the Central Texas Region. We are locally owned / operated and are proud to be one of the most well respected and experienced companies in the region.

Elevation
Report
The Elevation Certificate provides information for insurance companies, lenders and community flood control administrators. This information is required to estimate the risks for flooding. Elevation Certificates are required by the National Flood Program which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Tent
Report
The McMansion Ordinance does not apply to every property within the City of Austin. It applies only within specific boundaries (generally, greater central Austin). The Mueller Planned Unit Development is exempt fro the regulations. Properties zones SF-4A are also exempt unless they are adjacent to properties zoned SF-2 and SF-3.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Poor company to work for, a man named Mike owns the company not Victor the actual owner because he's a cuck. Fires employees through the use of his own field coordinators, go to All Star if you want professionalism.

The shear volume of business due to this hot market a lead-time was to be expected. They provided a due date which we agreed to. B&G performed and exceeded their due date by 1 day and accurately details topo & trees! Thanks B&G!

I'm selling my home and the copy of the survey is beyond legible, I called BG and spoke to a very nice lady whom told me all surveys are not available after 10 years and that I needed to pay them to come do another survey. Really? I recommend to be sure to ask any survey company how long they hold surveys, as it's free to do so and using that as excuse to redo one is never acceptable to a previously paying customer.

They will not do ANY work, even addenda on their previous work for less than 750$. They were not communicative or willing to discuss. Their work also had egregious errors (labelled a round dwelling a "water tank").

We got a survey done by B&G 10 years ago. Our architect recently contacted them to get the CAD files to check for impervious cover and a few other things. He was told he had to pay $100 for the CAD files. He says he has never been asked to do this before, and that the Cad files should have been included in the original survey. They state that it's customary for you to have to payoff the files after 90 days, and that they don't usually give those files out.

But what I can't understand is you pay all this money for a survey and they have the nerve to want to charge you more for files that should have been included. Most people in the general public don't know to ask for these files and then by the time you need them they want to charge you extra for them. In the end we may need to get another survey, and B&G quoted me 1, 500 for a new updated one. You can bet I will be taking my money elsewhere!
