We had them out to fix our freezer because the door would not shut properly. They fixed the door but then the ice maker wouldn't work and they had to come out twice to fix it. Fast forward 9 months and our freezer door won't shut again, I call to have them come out and fix it, the lady on the phone says they don't have any records of our door being broken, they only have documents for the ice maker, which doesn't make any sense at all since the ice maker was secondary to the original problem. It costs us around $470 to get it fixed the first time. Do not use this company.

I guess its my fault my dishwasher was leaking so Nicole came and looked at it said $340 I could get my part 7-9 days after she left I looked and my dishwasher was still leaking so I called dispatch said that was my problem I well that is why I hired them RIght? STAY AWAY they are terrible I wish I could give 0 stars I would!

LG picked ARI to do warranty work on our fridge this summer. Not only did the repair work take months they caused us to loose warranty on our fridge leaving us with a broken fridge. Took weeks to get someone out too look at it. Then at around a month to get someone to repair it. Ok fine if it had been fixed then I would understand. But it wasn't it still wasn't cooling.

So then they eventually sent someone out to look at it again. The new guy that was sent said it was under charged so he charged it some more. Now it was finally cooling but had started leaking out the back(it was never connected to water during the process). I called and the lady I talked to on the phone said there was absolutely no way that they could have done something to cause the leak and wouldn't even consider they caused it.

No responsibility taken. Finally got someone from LG out and guess what ARI over charged the fridge causing it to LEAK! But unfortunately since it was in the garage and we live in the Midwest I was told our warranty was void now due to cold temps. Had ARI repaired my fridge correctly the first or even second time or taken responsibility when I called I wouldn't have been left with a worthless fridge. ARI cost me hundreds of dollars.

I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They are not trust worthy and won't take responsibility for their errors. Do not trust them with your appliances unless you want to be purchasing new ones.

Never called to say that they were having problems with their truck whole day spent waiting on them customer service isnt up to par do not call them for anything

This company was hired through Best buy to repair our refrigerator. The guy who came out to our house, did not know how to install the new part and had someone walk him through the process over the phone. He was shoving and pulling shelves so forcefully he scratched and he carved out the inside and outside of the refrigerator. It took a few hours to repair it, all the while the water was collecting under the black mat that was under the fridge.

The water damaged our hardwood floors! Not only they decline the responsibility for the damages, they are saying I carved one year old refrigerator and damaged my hardwood floors myself! Stay away from this incompetent company!

Fantastic same day service. Our gas oven stopped working early morning on Christmas Eve. Called ARI at 9am and the repairman was at our door by 11 and the repair completed before noon. Repairman Kyle Blaha was very polite and professional. Fix (replace igniter) was done at a very reasonable price quoted up front. Saved our Christmas!

I own an Asko dryer and it is hard to find someone certified in this brand. They fixed it without a fuss. It is in a hard to get to place, and they wiggled it out, repaired it swiftly, and all is well. I am most grateful. Thanks, Nicole!

Awful customer service. 2nd time they were late for my scheduled time slot. No call from the office to let me know they were running late. When I called to inquire the employee was rude and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you don't want to sit at your house all day.

Called Friday for a Asko washer leak to schedule a repair, they said they could come 7:30 AM Monday and I asked have you worked on Asko, they said yes I said I have another appointment at 9:30 if that's enough time, the scheduler said no problem. I got up at 4:45 AM to get ready for the tech she came at 7:43 AM looked at it for 5 minutes and said she could not work on it because it was a stack washer/dryer.

I offered to help take off the dryer which I have done before with other techs, she said no, they need 2 techs. Needless to say I was frustrated! I had everything ready to go, why didn't they ask that before they came out! Wasted my time plus I gave up a early 6:00 AM work out class. Bad system, I will never call them again and would not recommend MPLS Appliance Repair.

Do not use this company. They made us prepay for the labor on a warranty repair and broke refrigerant line when installing compressor. Of course they didn't tell me they broke it. Then they promised to refund my money which they never did.

They made us wait almost a month for a leaky washer part. THEY then ordered the wrong parts multiple times and ultimately did not fix our issue. They were going to keep the trip charge in spite of this without multiple calls. They finally decided to claim the model is discontinued, I found it on Amazon in 2 minutes.

"Repair" technician came to my house, spent 5 minutes looking at my washer and dryer. Identified a problem with my dryer but told me I needed to call someone else to fix it. Ignored the problem with my washer stating "you use too much laundry soap". And charged me the $135 fee to "show up". Called the company to ask if this was normal policy for them and the receptionist stated she could send me to talk to the same technician again. It's clear from reading these reviews this IS their policy. Show up, do nothing, collect the exorbitant fee.

This company is nothing but a rip off. Tech came out on Monday, told me I needed a new condenser and circuit board for my LG refrigerator, which he said he ordered right away and would be able to put in on Friday. Friday came no call from him. I called the company and spoke to two different girls, said they would call right back, no call. I called again they said they had put in a call for the tech to call me, still no call.

So far I am still without a fridge. I paid $555.00 dollars for work that is still not done. This is a LG fridge, which I bought from Home Depot but they will do nothing about it either. I called LG and they said they had no record of the fridge since Home Depot did not register it. I bought a stove, fridge, washer and dryer 3 yrs ago and since Home Depot purges there records after two years they have no record of it either even though I have all the paper work. LG is no better even though their appliances are supposed to be one of the best.

They are actually very nice people, but once you get under the skin it's all a bunch or misleadings and lies. I took my dehumidifier in for service. The guy who took care of me was very nice. Said it would be a $75 diagnosis fee, which goes towards the issue to fix it if you have them fix it. He said it was really slow, so they might even call me that same day with an estimate to fix.

This was on a Tuesday morning. FRIDAY came along with no word. So I called. Friendly lady answered the phone, and said she would check on the order and call me RIGHT BACK. Later in the day still no call back. So I call again. A different lady answers and I explain my situation. She apologizes and says she'll go check right away, and I said I'll hold!

She said the guys is fixing it now! Really I said? I thought they were going to call with an estimate? So then she changes her story and says oh yah they are diagnosing it right now, and will call back really soon with an estimate! Yaaay! So now I'm thinking we're getting somewhere. An hour or two goes by, and i'm thinking seriously?

So I decide that this is just going to get worse before it gets better, and I decide to call again, ask for a manager, and just tell them I'm going to come over and pick it up, and take it elsewhere. So I call, and the manager, Aria I think is her name, answers. Again, very nice. She spills the beans and says yah they are really busy and just haven't gotten to my dehumidifier yet! i'm like really? The lady I spoke to a little bit ago said they were working on it as we spoke! Ah huh. Lie after lie, just sick! So, I would skip this place and look around!

The worst customer service EVER! I had an appointment and they called because they couldn't make it. I was nice enough to say that's okay we can reschedule for the following week. When they called back the only appointment they had available was inconvenient, but that was the ONLY appointment they had that week. I took the appointment and when the "technician" came over he sat on my laundry room floor and turned my dryer on and off while looking at his Facebook page!

What a joke! It gets worse. I called the next day to have someone else come out because he didn't do anything and the dryer was still broke. Scheduled another appointment and no one showed up or even called! Called and rescheduled another appointment told I was getting another "technician" for my service call. The morning of my appointment I was told that it would be the same Facebook checking "technician"! If I wanted another "technician" the only other appointment they had would be the following week! What a joke!

Unimpressed. Original complaint: response with 10 minute visit was $500 new icemaker. Paid, ordered, installed a week later. Call back because it does not work properly within a day of installation, need plumber. Pay plumber hundreds. Still doesn't work properly. Call back and told another several hundreds of dollars to replace some other little part with no visit - almost $300 quoted.

Of course additional $95 trip charge included. I've paid them enough to buy another refrigerator and still the icemaker does not work and the freezer has dripping water and coatings of ice all down the insides. So, since June 2 - new icemaker (never worked properly), plumber, now additional almost $300 quote - still no fully functioning icemaker. Realistically probably never needed the $500 icemaker at all. Apparently I really needed a real repairman who knew what he was doing and was willing to spend more than 10 minutes looking at the problem.

Had problems with our furnace and they came out in a timely matter even with the busy season and came within the time frame they gave us. They cleaned out our furnace and quoted us for what the replacement would be next time it went out which was nice so we could plan ahead.

Awful service. They came to fix our dryer and they had to move our washer out of the way to access the dryer vent. They then forgot to connect the washer hose back before they left and the next time we ran our washer, it made a huge mess with water everywhere including vents. When I complained about the carpets, rugs and vents being wet, the technician who came out made it sound like I was trying to rip him off.

They did fix part of the vent that broke but what amazed me is not once did they apologize. The guy just said "mistakes happen". The manager was supposed to call me to reimburse me for getting our rugs cleaned but no one called. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have had a similar experience with ARI as the previous two people who have posted a review. When my refrigerator stopped working properly on a hot summer day, I urgently needed it to be repaired. At first I called Primo, but they didn't have an immediate appointment available. I then called another company, appliance repair INC (ARI), and they had quick appointment for me.

The technician came from ARI and told me that the whole defrost unit needed to be replaced and the cost would be over $500. I have dealt with a number of refrigerators that had similar problems, and I didn't think the problem I had should cost that much to repair so I wanted to get a second opinion so I called Primo again. When I explained the situation he also found it hard to understand why it would be necessary to replace the whole defrost unit.

He explained to me that there are three components in the defrost unit, temperature sensor, fan and heating unit. Normally, either one of them needs to be replaced, but not all three at once. To make the story short, he came and replaced the sensor/controller which cost me less than $250 and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

NO! NO! Would give a minus star! Not a reputable company. They said a repairman for our town home air conditioner would come between 1-3pm. He came out at 5:20 pm. In the home less than 5 minutes and called me (landlord) and said $650 approx (w/o) their coupon would fix it adequately and $1,100 (aprrox) would be the ultimate fix Chad would do if he did it for his parents.

In the home less than 5 minutes and called me (landlord) and said $650 approx (w/o) their coupon would fix it adequately and $1,100 (aprx) would be the ultimate fix Chad would do if he did it for his "parents". Chad (repairman with ARI) spent 20 minutes recharging the air conditioner and billed us $624.50 and said that is a "set" charge w $30 cpn.

Air conditioner works but tenant said no other checking was done and air conditioner is filthy with cottonwood seeds. No cleaning is included. Complained to owner of ARI but he said it is a set price of $655 no matter what is done. One would pay $1000 + to get any cleaning of the coils. BEWARE! There are other appliance repair places in Blaine, MN.

One would think air conditioner repair would be pretty good for $655 but they just get your credit card and give the customer the fast fix. 20 minutes wouldn't be enough time to be thorough and check for a leak or clean the unit. Owner was rude and said his car repair was expensive as well so "get used to it." A repair from Appliance repair for air cond. cooling is a set fee of either $655 or $1,100 approx -- no variable, so now you know.

Even my tenant was shocked and hoped I hadn't paid too much because he wasn't impressed with the service either (but it does work so that is good.) PRICE IS FIXED with ARI so get someone else for any appliance repair. ALSO NO WARRANTY with this fix!

Just got charged 349.00 for repairing a wire on my AC and remounting a harness with tie wraps. I had agreed to the amount not knowing the amount of time that would be spent based on the fact that the harness was hitting my fan and thinking that he would have to take it (The AC unit) completely apart. He simply took the cover off, spliced a wire, taped it and tie wrapped the harness to the cover.

The work was fine. The manager, when I called him was flabbergasted that I'd even call to complain and no intention of even going halfsies. He went on about a business model. The conversation got heated, he never swore but you can just tell he was unscrupulous. Not a good company to work with. They don't care about the customer, just money. Mark Elk River

To make this company even better after posting a google review stating how their service was to a T and after over a month of waiting for the supposed correct parts to fix my fridge. I received a nasty voicemail from them stating they are cancelling my service 6/15/2015 due to me writing a review on their company of how they have handled their business.

Two stars because they showed up. The problem here is they charge you for a consultation 95.00 to be exact. All the guy did was open my stove door after I told him the oven part wouldn't work, and he said I needed to replace the oven igniter. At a cost of 390.00 (that does include the 95.00 visit fee) I couldn't believe it! I'm out the 95.00 but why would I repair a ten year old stove when I can get a new one for 700.00? Doesn't make sense.

I can't help feeling ripped off! I never heard of a repair place charging to open your oven and then assessing a fee. Make sure you have the money if you call these people, cause you're going to pay!
