I searched for a plumbing company that had experience to do sewer line work for me. Almighty Rooter Plumbing responded immediately. Work was done in a timely manner. And I thought I was charged a very reasonable price. Five year warranty was given. When you have a house over fifty years old, you just don't know what to expect. Technician Jesse was professional. Very informative in letting me know what was going on. Had knowledge of his job. Thank you also Dean.

I love when seasoned workers are sent out to work on things - they have years of knowledge and experience. John Madden was sent out to our home on Sat. 02.13.2021 for a clogged kitchen drain. This has got to be the crookedest company in the history of crooked companies. Quote you once price then they will render you plumbing inoperative so you can't call anyone and suddenly the price goes up almost 4x as in 4 times as in 295.00 to over 1000.00 5 star reviews are probably friends and family

Used them once for drain rooting and it was fine although rather overpriced. However, on another occasion I hired them to install a new sink fixture. The work was done fine, but the worker, an older gentleman with long gray hair, was very unprofessional. He was literally under my sink screaming swear words while working, including the F-bomb. It was very uncomfortable and not ok. I would not use them again just because of this.

I was in Chicago helping my father move. His house was on the market and we were in a rush to sell and close on the house. The day of the open house the water heater started leaking all over the basement. We called and were pleasantly surprised to get one of the owners on the phone. Bob assured us they would be out fast.

Almighty Rooter has done all kinds of plumbing jobs for me over the last six years. I can call them for anything and they are always responsive to my needs at a very fair price. The technicians are dependable and they do great work each time. I recommend Almighty Rooter for any job.

I have dealt with Hector of Almighty Rooter for a year at least and his customer service is always excellent. I tell him what I need, and he makes a good effort to take care of emergencies immediately and schedule general maintenance for a time that works for us both. Hector is a good troubleshooter and his work is guaranteed.

I called them to unclog a bad clog in my kitchen sink caused by overloading my disposal. Food and water were going down the disposal and coming up the other sink. I called them first thing in the morning and had two guys arrive at the house by noon. A bit of a mixup meant that the snake he had wasn't long enough and he had to come back 45 mins later with a longer one. They were professional, cordial, and got to work. It was not a 5-star rating because I think $225 was steep for the amount of time it took. I would use them again though.

Technicians were clean and very efficient workers. I will definitely keep them in mind for future issues. Highly suggest giving their business a call if you're searching for some plumbing getting fixed.

We had a major issue with water pressure and it turned out that the main water service pipe needed to be replaced, from the house to the Buffalo Box in the city pavement. Jesse and Pat from Almighty Rooter were able to have the work completed in a timely matter. They completed the work relatively quickly despite the requirements of obtaining a Chicago city permit and a city inspector approval, and despite the timing of the holiday season. The job was completed wonderfully, we have awesome water pressure now, and all of the faucets and fixtures in our house now work perfectly! Thank you guys!

If I could give no stars I would. They charged an absurd amount of money for a gas leak they did NOT fix and when I called back and informed them the gas company wouldn't turn the gas back on because there was still a leak they told me they couldn't come back for two days because their gas plumber called in sick. Last time I checked we lived in a gigantic, thriving city with millions of people and they only have ONE plumber?! Do yourself a favor and do NOT use these people! Scam!

I had a kitchen sink where water was coming up through the drain on both sides of the sink. I learned that it was an issue with the building's plumbing and not my sink. Because of a clog in the system, whenever someone in my building used their kitchen sink or dishwasher, it would filter up through my sink. The property manager called Almighty Rooter Sewer and Plumbing to come out and fix the problem.

The serviceman, Mike, came out and looked at the sink and then the building's plumbing. With a couple of knocks on the pipes, literally, he pinpointed the problem in 5 minutes. He opened the valve to the clogged pipe, flushed the system and then cleaned out the pipe. I was impressed at a) how quickly he found the problem and b) how fast he fixed it.

He not only fixed the clog, but also looked into the bigger problem of what might have been contributing to it. In doing so, he found a problem with the condo's drainage system for all the grease in the building and explained everything. Mike did a great job, was friendly and explained everything throughout the service call.

Gave me a fair price, a little below other estimates, showed up when promised and cleaned up after themselves. They did more than I expected and made sure to honor a discount coupon from their web page. I highly recommend them and will use them again. I had a catch basin cleaned and my main sewer pipes hydro-jetted.

The owners son came out to fix subpump problem. There still is a problem 3 years and 3 trips from this guy and he still can't fix it.

The service was fine but the plumber I got was pretty rude. I got a refrigerator line connected after the diy kit I got didn't work. I don't remember the name of the plumber I got but he an Eastern European accent. Not sure if it was because I am a woman but he was very condescending and saying stuff like"let me tell you something you might not know" constantly. He got the line to work and seems to know what he's doing but being rude to customers won't get you more work. Won't ever use them again.
