I ordered five windows, four came out fine. The fifth was supposed to allow fire escape access from the kitchen. After long discussion about various options they proposed one opening inward, and in the rendering it opens around 60 degrees, which the managing agency and I approved. However when installed it opens around 10 degrees, hitting the stove, not allowing adequate access, which they should have realized. I paid for four windows, but not the fifth. Now they are threatening to sue me, though I don't see that they have a good case.

The team that day were cold unfriendly and bizarre, except the woman, thank God. I gave her a small present. They talked to each other rather than me and were cold towards me. They removed my shades did not reinstall them - and a giant AC and did not show me how to operate the windows. One of them told the head of the crew to show me how to adjust the windows and he replied, "she en go tilt no window" as well as " I ain't commin back here" without looking at me.

I made one small request to cover the heater, and the vibes- I felt like I would be yelled at - so this phenomenon they were exhibiting is called assuming the worst about someone based on prejudice. I was very polite to them. I would never recommend any unkind unprofessional lack of emotional control groups of people to go to anyone's home.

I am an Interior Designer and had done two corporate projects for my clients who owned their condominiums where Adler Windows provided and install their windows. My projects went seamless and because of this, I later recommended them to my friends who were in need of new windows for their homes. I would highly recommend them. Kathleen Peragine

Adler Windows was great from the start. They responded to my initial inquiry quickly, easily scheduled a visit for an estimate, allowed me to arrange to come view the window options in person in their show room, worked with my building (co-op) to get the project approved, and scheuled/installed quickly, on time, on budget and with minimal disruption. They worked very neatly and were very considerate of my space and my personal belongings. I highly recommend.

We used Adler to install windows. They did a good job on the install and the price was competitive. Sadly, we have had several problems with the windows and it's like pulling teeth to get them to respond and fix the problems. It takes several phone calls and emails to get them to reply. They do not follow up and as a result we would say this is a company you should avoid. They are not professional or caring.

I received a quote from Kevin at Adler windows for Landmarked windows for a Manhattan brownstone. First, he kept pushing aluminum windows for another property I had that wasn't landmarked even though I repeatedly told him I didn't want aluminum. Then when the quote came in for the landmarked building it was $150,000, which was about $100,000 higher than all my other quotes.

When I asked him for an itemized breakdown of the cost per window so I could decide which windows I wanted to replace, I never heard back from him. I repeatedly reached out to him to ask him for the cost for specific windows because I can't afford to do the whole project at that price and he never got back to me. When I finally got him on the phone he said because I want to do some and not all my windows, I am not a priority for him and he isn't going to get around to giving me a quote.

He also said that the price for just installation (not including the window cost) is $4,500 per window! That's about $4,000 more than everyone else is charging per window for installation. Adler claims they are not like everyone else - that's right, they are a complete rip off with rude customer service.

Adler's seminars are extremely informative and carry AIA credit which are required to maintain my license. Their showroom and staff makes getting information on a product/project very convenient. Alder even provides a supplies of portable chargers in a basket on your way out as they become very handy in charging my cell phone when I am in the field. Great team to work with and they keep growing every time I return for another seminar.

Worked with Adler on the installation of 11 foot, four panel sliding doors into a wall that previously just had a smaller window. Adler were very helpful in the selection of the product, gave us great pricing, and were very flexible when it came to rescheduling due to construction snags. The installation work itself was first rate, very efficient and done in half the time originally estimated. Overall a fantastic experience, and highly recommend working with Adler for window installation projects.

I used Adler windows to replace a few older windows in our apartment. They were competitively priced, did a clean job, and the end result was great. Very satisfied

The windows are fantastic! After struggling with our old windows it is a dream to open our windows with our fingertips. On installation day our crew was very professional and very meticulous in their installation. We had three windows installed and did not have to have any repairs done to the surrounding areas after the installation was complete. Our installers even cleaned the windows of any fingerprints and smudges before they left.

I am the president of an 8-unit coop building in Brooklyn. Adler replaced every window in our building (60+ windows) for us in Oct 2017 and we were entirely satisfied with the entire experience. The installation crew was careful around personal belongings in each apartment and they cleaned up thoroughly each day. As soon as our contract was signed I had access to a project manager to coordinate the project and I was in direct communication with the field supervisor who was on site every day during the 2-week installation phase.

The entire project was completed on time with minimal disruption to our daily lives and with no additional or unexpected costs. Everyone in the building is extremely pleased with their new windows and the entire experience with Adler. I would highly recommend Adler to anyone who is considering a building wide window replacement project of this size.

I have ordered my windows and doors as of august, the shop drawing weren't correct until november despite receiving their 50% deposit. and now the time frame to deliver them has been extended over 2 months. i cant live in a home without windows and doors. this company grossly misrepresented their manufacture and delivery times. buyer beware. they are not taking any responsibility whatsoever and now my project is way over time and budget. do not order. save yourself time money and aggravation and buy from anyone else!

Installation was not only quick but the guys were so professional and courteous and left my house as clean as they found it. So amazed with our end result I have been telling everyone I know about Adler Windows!

I would not recommend using Adler. Adler was very slow to turnaround drawings and in turn installation despite having received 50% deposit. Adler also attempted to delay installation of my windows until another installation in my building was ready in order to reduce their own cost. This was for an ~$30k job.

Tech showed up on time. Measured for new window install, said he would email me estimate. Told him we were anxious to get job done to accomodate new A/C unit waited 2 weeks, never heard from them. Called two times during this 2 week period, was told they would call me back.never happened. I would never attempt to use these people. Good luck if you do. Could have just said they were not interested, and saved me the wait!

I had a new patio door put in a year ago which I seldom use. When I opened it today it came off the track. I called them and they said since it has been approximately l year I would have to pay a service charge of over $200. They made this door for me and installed it and the cost was $350. I refuse to pay almost as much again in this short a period. Very disappointed in this company. I live in NYC and am retired. I prefer to use my extra money for travel.

Adler Windows replaced all the windows for me in a co-op in Fort Lee New Jersey back in February of 2016. This was a relatively big job ($25K), between the designs, approval by the co-op board, and coordination with the contractor doing the interior renovation. During the process, the staff at Adler were responsive and took care of a number of major and minor issues in a timely manner.

Fast forward 7 months. I saw that the seal on one of the windows had failed (condensation forming between the glass panes); I took a picture and emailed it to Adler along with a written description of the issue. Less than a day later the owner of the company reached out to me to say that he would get a replacement from the window manufacturer as per the warranty, and would coordinate an install as weather permits. That's excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for replacement windows; very professional, very responsive, and very knowledgeable.

Dear Adler Windows, We purchased 11 custom windows including 7 handcrafted wood Parrett windows from Adler Windows for a purchase price just under $70,000 for our loft. Alder sold us faulty custom Parrett windows and improperly installed them. The windows lacked proper caulking and were missing seals in many instances. Adler blamed our buildings pointing.

However an independent water test (which Adler was invited to attend) proved improper installation and showed the buildings pointing problem only affected ONE window not all 7 Parrett windows that you installed. Any delay in the building fixing the pointing problem had all to do with your non-responsive posture when we informed you of the leaks within months of the installation.

We sent countless emails and left over a dozen voice-mails which you and the manufacturer on your advice chose to ignore. It is a crime that neither you or the window manufacturer, Parrett, stand behind a sizable purchase of your product and services. We the purchaser did not cause this problem. We bought your windows and window installation in good faith.

It is despicable that you have made no effort to correct the situation or make good on our purchase. Shame on you. Anyone in the market for new windows should avoid Adler at all cost.

We recently worked with Adler to replace the windows in a residential unit. They provided great service and the best pricing for a custom job out of three window contractors we had invited to bid. The results are beautiful and everyone from the sales reps to the office staff and installation crew were professional and responsive.
