These small insects are generally a bit under a quarter of an inch long and are flat looking. Their bodies are red in color without wings. If you find blood spots on your bedsheets or small itchy bites on your body, you may have an infestation. These bites are often mistaken as mosquito bites and can take up 14 days to appear on some people.

These large, commonly black or black and red ants remove wood from tree stumps, inside the walls of homes or other wooden structures to burrow into and form a colony. Many times these ants inhabit homes without being seen. In the case that one is spotted, it is highly likely that there are many more and they are already established within the home.

Ryker of Aard Pest Control was very professional and thorough during the visit. He spotted some carpenter ants and moisture ants and explained how I need to treat this matter urgently and contact a contractor to come and take a look for any signs of wood rot in our foundation or crawl space. He also pointed out pavement ants along the patio wall and household odorous ants inside our master bathroom.
Before the visit I was not aware of so many different types of ants and which ones are a mere nuisance and which ones are the ones to take seriously. I found Aard Pest Control through the Best of Bellevue Eastside booklet that we've been receiving in the mail yearly and I am glad I got in touch with them. I will use Aard Pest Control again in the future.

Cheyne is amazing! This place understands what so many business don't, EVERY company is just seling their customer service. The product is just a means to get their customer service to the marketplace. AARD's customer service is so incredible that even if they raised their prices, as long as they kept their customer service and quality, we'd pinch elsewhere to remain their customer.

I had a weird fly problem in my house. I called on a Thursday morning and they popped by that same afternoon. Rob did a thorough inspection of the situation and figured out the issue. Basically since it a fly issue not really anything he could do but gave me excellent advice which was easy and cheap to do myself. They didn't charge me for the visit but he was here for probably 25 minutes or so. Nice guy! I'll totally call them again if needed.

The technician, Bill, went out of his way by moving a very heavy package that was delivered to the house but left in an open area. He moved it to a more secure area where it would not be vulnerable to thieves while we were away. Bill is an outstanding professional and great technician. We were having problems with Carpenter Ants appearing in our kitchen. We called AArd Pest Control and Cheyne Allen (Technician) came out this morning. He was very professional and explained about the ants and the treatment he was going to perform. Looking forward to future quarterly treatments to ensure the problem is solved. Able to setup call and appointment in a timely fashion. Tyson was very knowledgeable and professional. Helped evaluate my crawlspaces and attic. Found access points I hadn't found yet and recommended some easy fixes/actions to take for current crawlspace infestation. Would recommend again for anyone looking to understand their pest risks.

Pros--they helped resolve our mouse issues and the tech was kind and professional. Cons--- I was told the problem was resolved and follow up was not needed. We paid our bill and said goodbye. Later, I found out that I was charged for another visit (over one hundred dollars) and I felt cheated. We talked about this and our business was over, why did I get charged? I called the AARD company and was not given an apology or explanation. It's all about trust. I can't recommend a company I that has lost it.
