Critical:Professionalism, Quality, Value Miserable. Signed up for 2 visit program. They came and didn't do what I asked for on first visit-- all things we had already done! -- and evidently showed up weeks later without scheduling an appointment. $200 down the drain. I recommend avoiding. Service:Rodent extermination

I can't say any of the negative reviews are wrong nor if any of the positive reviews are right. I can only say anyone reading this trying to consider choosing a company, in my case bedbugs, to consider all reviews and make a decision yourself and do what you think is best. I was giving this company the benefit of the doubt. After seeing the negative reviews, and their response to those reviews.

By now I already talked to Kevin (bedbugs specialist) and have had a positive experience. He was very informative and educational about bedbugs. Things I've never heard about before, like using your car as a oven to kill the bedbugs when weather is over 75 degrees, thats a great idea. And I appreciated all of that. On top of that, the price of $1250.

For all visits was a good deal for me. Other companies seem too cheap or too expensive, so with the good experience I had with him with the price seem like a good bet. The only problem that came along was that I've said twice they might come on Saturday, June 5th. Because thats the best day for my dad to pay for it. And I say MIGHT because he said I had to prep the house before they come.

First they said confirm that the company will be doing the treatment, prep the house with the directions given, THEN let them know when they will come. Thats what I thought the process is supposed to be. He told me to prep before scheduling so I assumed he didn't schedule me yet. First time was on a call I said that Ill try for Saturday but I'm not sure so ill let him know.

He tells me if I have any questions to let him know by call or email. And I did, I asked a lot of questions on email and It was really nice. I then said "Alright still have to do the prep im trying to shoot for Saturday but ill let you know when im ready and sure. Thanks" (June 1st) He then said "let me know by tomorrow end of day how you are doing" (June 1st) I can say thats where Im at fault.

I didn't message back to let him know. And I mentioned Saturday. But does that confirms they should come? So its June 5th, And their here. And honestly I have my own reasons why I wasn't ready. And I shouldn't have to explain them. Kevin did say I didn't have to dry all the clothes. Just bag them is fine. But with all the clothes we have I thought it was best to.

With all the clutter my family has I'd rather treat the clothes just to make sure before they come so its as affective as possible. But I didnt reach my goal for Saturday and thats my fault. But eventhough I did not message him to let him know. I still didn't CONFIRM. They show up today. And to me I'm surprised not only did they not tell me what time they were coming, there was only one guy there to do treatment?

Maybe thats okay but I don't know to save time wouldn't you have atleast two people? I tell them the house isn't ready Kevin calls me upset and says "I'm not very happy." I tried to explain but he cuts me off saying "I had to say no to many customers. Now they have to sleep with bugs for another week because I scheduled today for you" And I had a problem with that and I say "I didnt even know what time." And now we are almost at an argument cutting off each other.

Then ends and he says hes not comfortable treating my house and to find another company. And I said Great and hung up before him saying "have a nice day" because just wow. To me it was unprofessional when it didn't have to be. Why would you schedule me not knowing SURE im ready? I'm sorry for the people you had to schedule for next week. But why would you have to tell me that, I'm not the person who scheduled them?

And now of course I feel bad and want to take the blame because thats the type of person I am. But no, its not right. For him to take no accountability AT ALL? for that is why I say unprofessional. He didn't actually care to help me. Take it as you will, thats my experience. Maybe if you are going to consider this. Be a better communicator than me to make sure they come to help. Because unfortunately they might not provide that. Now back to company searching.

Critical:Value While the first of two spider sprays went great, the company said that their second visit needed to be scheduled within 30 days of the first visit and this was not clearly communicated. So while we paid for 2 services, we only received one. Service:Spider extermination

I had a serious issue with flying insects bugs. I called and spoke to Kevin about my concern. Kevin is very honest and helpful. I mailed him a sample of the bugs. He called me and explained what kind of insect it was. Kevin told me how to get rid of the fungus gnats. I just appreciate how knowlegeable and helpful and honest. Because he couldve sent someone to my home and charge me. He didnt do that. Thank you so much.

The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I woke up on a Saturday morning to discover bedbugs. My management company was giving me the runaround saying no pest control places were open weekends, so I decided to call around myself (since a quick Google search told me there were a few with Saturday availability). I called A-Alert and briefly explained my situation, then asked if they'd be able to come by that day.

The owner (though I didn't know it at the time) proceeded to lecture me telling me that being treated same-day wasn't what I ACTUALLY wanted because of all the prep work. He spoke to me like I was an unintelligent, irrational 4-year-old and explained that I needed to approach the situation "logically not emotionally." For anyone who's had bedbugs in their home -- where you sleep and relax and for me, work -- you know that it IS a somewhat emotional thing.

That said, I was by no means crying hysterically or carrying on to the point that I couldn't be understood, in fact I suspect he simply heard me sniffling. Regardless, that isn't how you speak to a potential customer who's clearly having a tough time and is simply asking if you can help. I hung up on him. I called the following Monday because I assumed I'd spoken to a lower-level employee (I couldn't imagine anyone higher up would treat a customer with such disrespect) and I wanted to let management know what had happened.

I left a message with the receptionist and was told the office manager, a woman, would call me back. Instead, I received a sassy call from the same man. "You wanted to discuss a call from Saturday? Guess what? I'm who you talked to." He had the option of just letting me vent to the office manager and never talking to me again. Instead, he called me back and picked a fight with me.

He told me I'd been hysterical (nope) and he was "simply telling me what I needed to do." The lack of professionalism astounded me. Go with any other company, one that will show you the respect you deserve. I was treated like a stupid, silly, estrogen-ridden idiot, and all because I called and asked for a service.

This was the worst experience I had ever had with a service company. First they took done the wrong number down, went to the location, tenant was there. Their tack call the wrong number and left. they did come back for a second visit, they did not tell me what was wrong and have to wait till the paper work was in the office. They accepted payment of $135 to go out and do whatever, I have no idea what they did. I will never use this company again.
