Since the 1920s Maitz Home Services has been installing home comfort systems for residents of Allentown and the surrounding area. Some of you may remember us as Snyder Plumbing & Heating. It was back in 1964 that a bright and ambitious young man named Charles Maitz purchased Snyder and renamed it Maitz Plumbing & Heating.

Around this time, central air conditioning was fast becoming a necessity throughout the greater Allentown area. Quickly, Maitz acquired the expertise to provide his extensive customer base with complete central air conditioning installation and repair services. Then, in the early '70s the name was changed again to Maitz Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
