M.J. Nicholls Landscaping was established by Matthew Nicholls in 1996. Like many kids, he started working small jobs in his neighborhood, mowing lawns and installing shrubberies. As the years passed, his technical knowledge grew and his clientele base expanded.

In 2005, his business was formally established as an LLC corporation at which time Matthew graduated with an Associate's degree in Landscape Contracting from the U-Mass Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture.Prior to college, Matthew attended Norfolk County Agricultural High School where he majored in landscape design.Matthew utilizes his knowledge and experience to create outdoor living environments which are both aesthetically pleasing as well as practical to suit the specific needs of each client.

Hydroseeding is a lawn seeding process that utilizes slurry of seed, mulch, water, and fiver. We own and operate our own hydroseeding trucks and our employees are trained in hydroseeding so feel free to ask the M.J. Nicholls team about the process. We use the highest quality of hydroseed to ensure that your lawn grows back hardy and healthy.

The installation of custom-built patios, walkways, retaining walls, custom waterfall/circulating koi ponds, drywell, trenching and site drainage work, as well as the installation of trees & shrubberies, seeding, hydro-seeding, sodding and mulching.

At M.J. Nicholls, we pride ourselves on the quality of work that we provide. This is why we require residential maintenance customers to sign up for a maintenance program that goes beyond just mowing lawns. To be a weekly mowing customer, we ask that you choose four of the below options (including weekly maintenance).
