The fact that it took 4 times and 18 months to get my windows correct. Can I also add that I was fined from my HOA because of it as well for not being in compliance. I think that says enough.

Shout out for this gem on Thomas ave! Our window crank was broken and it's specially made by Anderson. We went to home depot, lowes, ACE numerous times, wishing to find the right crank. No luck. Our local friends recommended Lasting and impression right before we almost lost hope. 3 hours ago I met this wonderful lady Karen from this company. She asked specific questions and gave me thorough explanations in a super professional way.then 20 mins later, boom!
She found the exact crank we need! As for the charge, this nice lady said:" nothing, happy holidays!" I was touched by her professionalism and patience. And we are so pleased finally the right crank was found!

I have a specialty door handle/set sold by these guys (unknown location of purchase, was a part of a renovation done 5 years ago). An internal hardware piece broke recently. I tried Home Depot 1st, but not luck. I went online to attempt purchasing a replacement, but the website directed me to this "local dealer". I decided to walk in, unannounced, to attempt purchasing a replacement. The owner (or someone in charge in the back), decided to 1st check random spare parts in the back prior to my purchase.
They indeed had an exact spare I needed and gave it to me free of charge. They did not have to show me this generosity, they could have made me repurchase the entire handle set. Thank you! I will definitely use these guys for any door or window needs in the future.

Due to a combination of issues, my 5 window, two day installation job took an inordinate amount of time to complete. There is a third party involved, and they have agreed to step up to assist. My problems seemed to revolve around issues at the factory, things that Lasting Impressions had little to no control over. The reservations I had were addressed directly by the owner, Mark Jacobsen, and the factory representative.
This matter has now been resolved. On the plus side, Lori and Karen in the office were enjoyable to work with and Karen's knowledge of fenestration answered many of my questions right away without having to wait for answers from the field. Mike was my on the job point man throughout the process and I can't say enough good things about his knowledge and concern when we ran into challenges during the Rand R.

These guys are the WORST! Order placed in April, salesman (Jeff) required 100% of $ up front (the only contractor to ask that in our substantial remodel) and said delivery will take 6 weeks. 12 weeks later it finally arrives. Then, it takes two more weeks to install. (Says the dismissive and rude secretary was when scheduling, "It's only two weeks."). When it FINALLY arrives for install its the WRONG COLOR!?!
How does anyone stay in business like this? For us, they've been non-communicative, dishonest, terribly slow, and failed to deliver what was promised -- that's our lasting impression. We'll see next how they are about returning our money.

I don't write many reviews but when someone or a company goes above and beyond, it moves me to express my feelings. I have been shopping for replacement windows for over three weeks now and found Lasting Impressions online. Called and spoke with Karen at some length and said she would work up a quote. I actually stopped by the next day (she had just emailed me the quote) and even though I couldn't go with them due to my HOA strict restrictions, Karen spent a half hour or so helping me!
Even answered my questions via emails after that in such a timely manner. That's customer service and she sure knows the business. If the other people who work there are half as good as Karen, you can't go wrong with them, I highly recommend Lasting Impressions!

My order was not what I expected. The two larger windows were not openable. The locksets were passage handles only. No locks. Doors were excellent but when all was delivered I was shocked that there was no installation. Had to get an independent contractor in to do that. Also got proper locks from Home Depot and we installed those ourselves. I prefer to work with local small businesses but things like this are making it difficult.
