First of all thank you for finding our website and taking a look around. My name is Shane Goetsch, I am the owner of SMG Landscapes. A little bit about me: I grew up on the farm in Nebraska where we raised hogs and grew corn. I attended college at the University of Nebraska, Omaha and earned a degree in Aviation Management/Business Administration degree and a commercial pilot license.

While going to college I worked for a company that installed lawn sprinkler systems. We would do anything from a residential lawn, to 9-hole golf courses. After graduating in 1996 I headed to Alaska to be a pilot. I flew in rural Alaska for five years then moved to Anchorage where my love of flying took me all over the state.

Our professionals can design your lighting system so the lights are in the correct place to provide the best illumination of your lawn and property. We provide a clean installation with no exposed lighting or loose fixtures. We route the wires for minimal impact on existing landscaping.

Snow & Ice Services

We don't just plow and leave (unless that's all you want of course!), we take care of the the whole property and constantly monitor our properties to keep the snow and ice managed as best as possible.

Management

Fully maintain the property on a weekly basis. We keep an eye on the details to make your property look great. We will clean up the edges wherever you have a concrete curb for a clean and uniform look. In the spring we pick up trash, tree limbs and other debris. We thatch the lawn to improve soil aeration and allow the lawns to green up as quick as possible.

Sprinkler

Report

All sprinkler systems are designed with a CAD program to ensure uniform coverage and no dry spots. We use a vibratory plow for minimal disruption to the lawn. All the parts we use are heavy grade for longer life and improved durability. All installations are designed to survive the Alaskan winter.
