We improve layouts, install cabinets and countertops, update showers, vanities, tile, fixtures, lighting, storage, flooring, insulation, and other finishing elements. Services
We handle kitchen renovations from the first design decisions to the completed installation, with clear planning for layout, materials, and timelines. Cabinet installation is completed with careful attention to measurements, leveling, alignment, and secure fitting. Homeowners choosing IKEA systems can rely on us for full installation, rather than cabinet assembly alone, including plumbing, electrical, and countertop work.
We renovate basements from the initial framing stage through the final details, creating finished spaces that function as part of the home. Our approach includes moisture assessment, proper insulation, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, lighting, and trim. We establish the project plan and timeline in advance, provide a clear price, and address concerns directly.
We manage complete bathroom renovations from initial measurements through the final caulking. Our team handles demolition, plumbing, tiling, fixtures, lighting, and finishing, so homeowners work with one team throughout the project. We provide a clear plan, realistic timeline, and upfront pricing, while addressing layout, moisture, and installation concerns with careful workmanship.
We approach every painting project with careful planning and consistent workmanship, whether it involves one room or an entire house. Colour selection, surface preparation, and scheduling are addressed before painting starts. Small rooms and detailed trim receive the same attention as larger projects, with techniques selected for the space and finishes designed to provide lasting results.
We install and refinish flooring with the same attention to detail whether the space is large, small, or difficult to access. Tight rooms receive careful planning around corners, transitions, and available working space, while subfloor preparation and moisture checks remain consistent. For refinishing, we first assess the wood before sanding to determine whether it can be properly restored.
Condo renovation requires careful coordination beyond the work inside the unit, and we manage those details as part of the service. Before construction begins, we address board approvals, insurance requirements, elevator bookings, work-hour restrictions, and material limitations. During the renovation, our crew protects shared areas and completes each phase from demolition to finishing with these requirements in mind.
Our service covers both straightforward garage upgrades and complete conversions into usable spaces. We begin by planning the project and identifying issues such as cracked slabs, insufficient insulation, or unsuitable wiring. From there, we complete the necessary structural work and finishing details, using garage-appropriate materials while maintaining the same standard of workmanship regardless of the garage size.

We worked with HFX Reno for a kitchen install for our cabin in The Falls and it was the best experience - highly recommend. We're out of province and have had a LOT of trouble with trades and communication. OJ was a breath of fresh air - always proactive with his communication and when we ran into hiccups (as you always do) he communicated the issue and then came back with a solution. His quality of work is super high (he cares), he does what he says he is going to do when he says he's going to do it (super reliable). It even impressed my father who is almost never impressed. Don't hesitate - highly recommend HFX Reno!

Just finished a fully enclosed secondary suite in my basement. New bathroom, laundry room, kitchenette, new floor, plumbing, new 200 amp panel, new hot water tank, HRV, new drywall, paint. Very happy with work. OJ brought it from bare studs to a finish product. Very fair price for all the work done. Thanks OJ
