Bowen Remodeling & Design

Since apparently you can only do one review on Google, I am editing my previous one to add the new review. We just had our basement finished by Bowen, and are very pleased. It was a massive job bedroom, workshop, full bath, pantry, wet bar, rec room. The craftsmen are experienced, trustworthy, and super friendly. This was our third project with Bowen, and the largest. They also completely redid our guest bath and put hardwood flooring on the whole second floor. You might say our house has been entirely Bowenized and we love it! Highly recommend!

Bowen just completed a total renovation of our master bath (and a little work in the adjourning closet). It was a great experience from start (design) to finish (final touch-up painting) and everything in between, and the results look FABULOUS.

I want to especially acknowledge the work of Charlie, who was responsible for the majority of the work (removal, carpentry and tile), while acknowledging that everyone involved (including subcontractors) were GREAT.

I wont say there were zero glitches (in a major project there will always be something that doesnt go perfectly), but Bowen worked with us to address a couple of minor items that came up to provide a final product they (and we) can be proud of.

Perhaps the biggest complement I can provide is I plan to use Bowen next year for work on our first floor.

Bowen just completed tiling my shower. I'm very pleased with the finished product. Ryan did a super job with the tile as well as Billy with the painting.
I'm extremely pleased with everyone involved with this job; their professionalism and attentiveness.

Over the past 30 years, we have had a variety of repairs and remodeling done and Bowen's has been our go to company whenever these projects have come up.
Jobs have included:
- A full bathroom and a half bathroom completely remodeled;
- Whole-house fan removed and ceiling repaired;
- Moved our small attic entry to a different room and made it larger with easier access;
- A new garage attic door installed;
- Repairs to our kitchen;
- Full dining room remodel; and
- Drywall repairs from other plumbing jobs;
The office personnel and crew are both fantastic with prompt response times to anything we've inquired about. Communication has been wonderful and it has been great to always talk with a human being.

I am enjoying a beautiful kitchen by Bowen Remodeling & Design. It is both lovely and highly functional. I really had few ideas about what I wanted. Samantha had many suggestions for design elements that are practical and make working in the kitchen easier and more fun. She also was honest about some design elements that might sound good, but in practice would not work for me. She asked questions and really listened to me to help me choose what would work best for me. She also addressed many design elements I never would have thought of; the details that make the whole project look better and work well together.

The quality of the cabinets & hardware is excellent. The countertops are beautiful and so easy to clean. The new backsplash is installed beautifully. The flooring is lovely and cleans beautifully. All elements look and feel of very high quality, and I expect they will last for many, many years.

The construction team was such a pleasure to have in my home, from demo to final finish. I was given a detailed schedule in advance, that they followed. If I had questions, the lead team of Sean & Jordyn were very responsive. Tje pros doing the work were polite and tidy. They did high quality work efficiently. I'm pretty picky, but they always addressed my concerns. I actually found the finish on a few doors to have small but unacceptable flaws. Bowen agreed & worked with the cabinet company to replace them. This was an easy experience, with Showplace Cabinetry backing their product.
Having your kitchen redone is a lot of decisions. Choosing Bowen was our first & best decision. Having workmen in your home for weeks can feel disruptive, but polite, and professional workmen make that easier. Having a solid lead team for those guys makes everything smoother. Starting out the project with a good designer who helps you figure out what works best for YOU is critical. I am truly enjoying my new kitchen by Bowen Remodeling & and Design. I'll probably never do another kitchen, but I'm considering a bathroom next. My first call, of course, will be to Bowen.

Im very pleased with how the work went. The few glitches were generally not Bowens fault and were addressed promptly. Work began on time and finished a day early.

Bowen Remodeling recently remodeled our bathroom. We had our initial design meeting in Oct 23. Sam did a great job of walking us through design options, different material, costs and the timeline. They have some mock bathrooms in the store which helped visualize how materials looked. The remodeling team began the demo/remodel in January 24, it took about 3 weeks. The remodeling team was professional, worked hard, timely, cleaned up, and answered any questions we had along the way. Dennis was outstanding, he listened to everything we said and made sure to resolve any concerns, and provided us updates of any minor issues or decisions along the way. Joe the owner also stopped by almost daily to check on the project and kept us in the loop on the schedule and how things were going. We would definitely use Bowen Remodeling again.

I cannot say enough about this company! My elderly mother needed to have the sliding door leading into her rec room replaced because the door completely shattered when it was hit by a car. We were able to put plywood up and called Bowen. We thought it might be a week or so before they could come out, but they were out the same day to measure and ordered a new door right away. Less than one week later, they were back to install the door. They did such a fantastic job. They went above and beyond, even using a wet/dry vac to clean up extra shards of glass that were still there from when the door shattered. They took the extra time and care to show my mom all the features of the door and make sure she was comfortable with everything. From start to finish, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my mother had everything she needed, and was comfortable with the door and the insulation. I highly recommend this second generation, family owned, small business based out of Crofton!

They did it again. For our fourth project with Bowen we converted a tub/shower to a more accessible shower. The results were beautiful and help extend the amount of time we can stay in our home. Samantha listened and helped select design options to meet our needs and style. The crew was always respectful of our property and cleaned up each day as they worked. We have Bowen in our cell phones because of the consistently professional way they have handled our bathrooms, kitchen, and living room.

Excellent service as always!! Cannot wait to see what they do with our third bathroom third remodel!

I can not say enough good things about Bowen Remodeling & Design. From start to finish every aspect of the job was seamless. From picking out the product to demo day, to completion day... no issues! The crew arrived each day on time with positive attitudes. They took extra measures to protect my carpets and cleaned up each day, you would never know a bathroom remodel was taking place!
