If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation that you need a plumber, please call Jeff and his team at Thorough Plumbing! We made a call to him after having a significant spike in our water bill from an apparent leak and he was so incredibly knowledgeable! I needed an estimate for a Halo5 whole home water filter system and the Thorough Plumbing team set up a two hour time window and came out to work up an estimate. They had to use some special tracing equipment to locate my sewer and water cut off and found both near my house. They did this on their time as part of the estimate and never once hassled about how long it was taking. They were prompt, friendly and very helpful and thorough in showing me everything it would take to install this system. The estimate breakdown was a very detailed line item breakdown. There was no guesswork or things left out that would pop up later.
The estimate was out of our budget for right now and I texted Ben who understood and was very respectful of my decision. I told him they earned a new customer along the way in this process because I really appreciated the time and detailed breakdown of the estimate.

Woke up this morning to find my front yard soaking wet and water flowing down the street. A leak on the water supply line. Called Thorough Plumbing and the dispatcher estimated arrival between 2 - 4 PM. The two technicians arrived right at 2:00. They diagnosed the problem quickly and also repaired quickly. Ben and Jeff are awesome! I learn something about plumbing every time they come over. Ben has done excellent work and told us about preventative things that needed to be done. Because of his thoroughness, he found some areas that were already problematic but we did not see it because they had calcified over. I will not call anyone else but Thorough Plumbing. I would also like to add that this job was not only done on Labor Day weekend, but also on Jeffreys birthday! Just had a great experience with Thorough Plumbing. Needed some remodeling work done to update tub/shower fixtures for an original to the house ceramic tub. Antonio and Ben talked me through options and price points. They had blocked out time to do the work and started right away on my project. Old houses are never straightforward, but they were able to adapt (including working in the dark when I had an unexpected (and unrelated) electrical issue that required shutting off power to the house for essentially the whole time they were there). They communicated throughout and left the place clean. My tub/shower plumbing is in a much better place than where it started thanks to them. Thorough Plumbing takes Zelle which I appreciated. Highly recommend for your next plumbing project.

Had a great experience with Thorough Plumbing! Emergency weekend call for a water heater leak and ultimately replacement of both units with an outstanding tankless water heater! Jeff was responsive, communicated in detail throughout the process and recommended upgrades only when he thought they were relevant. Ben just resolved my extremely slow draining master bath sink problem. He was polite, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I've had problems with that sink and our laundry room sink draining very slow for decades and I never understood why. I assumed painters used those sinks to clean their brushes and the gunk never made it all the way out of the house. Both sinks serve as the condensation drains for the AC units in the attic. I'd pour 1/2 cup bleach down the drains in the attic a few times a year because I heard that is will help keep buildups from occurring. No luck. Ben explained that the water from the AC drains has a different PH (and maybe other differences) compared to tap water that causes build ups. He roto'd the drains and gave me some tips to prevent the build up. I will use Thorough Plumbing whenever I need plumbing assistance. I can't say enough about having a knowledgeable person share their insight as it relates to having them resolve problems like this.

Water heater replacement was a seamless, trouble-free experience. Ben was a great, personable, and professional plumber. He was direct, trustworthy, and worked with my landlord, directly, to get the repair done in a timely manner. I highly recommend. Price is competitive,and less than most. While not the cheapest option, the peace of mind knowing we received quality service before and after the sale, is invaluable, and definitely worth skipping the cheap companies.
