This is a follow-up to our experience with Roof Express, which we hired to inspect our roof and provide evidence to our insurance company that it was in good condition. Our insurer had declined to renew our homeowners' policy due to aerial photos that inaccurately represented the state of our roof. We had previously hired another company to inspect our roof and prepare a report, but the appeal based on that report was unsuccessful.

We then hired Roof Express, despite having low expectations after the initial rejection. Habibi conducted a thorough inspection and created a detailed report with precise descriptions and labeled photos. Although we were skeptical, Habibi assured us that the report would convince our insurance company. After submitting the report, we were pleased to find that our second appeal was successful, and our policy renewal was reinstated.

Our interaction with Abu and Habibi, as well as the positive reviews, has led us to decide that we will return to Roof Express when we need to replace our roof.

Roof Express just got done with a project for us, and they were excellent. Pricing was in line with other vendors we got bids from, but they always showed up early (not just on-time), provided a clear plan of what to expect, and everything went super smooth. What I loved was that there were NO surprises even though they found issues along the way. They either dealt with those issues or let me know what would need to be adjusted, then still managed to come in within budget and completed the project early. Definitely will be using them again.

We had a great experience with the Roof Express people. Abu and Habibi were extremely helpful with an inspection of our roof and the preparation of a detailed roof inspection report (to be sent to an insurance co.), with photographic documentation, etc. They definitely have expert knowledge of their field, and provided excellent, thoughtful communication and advice during the whole process. We will call them for our next roofing job.

After extreme wind on May 3 2025, the top of my chimney blew off, leaving my house interior exposed to wind, sand, dirt, etc. along Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Abu from Roof Express answered my call, no recording! That was a good sign. He and his crew came May 5 and installed a new beautiful copper chimney! ( the old one was 30 years old.) Loved the rapid response and the professional manner and reasonable price. I highly recommend Roof Express.

I would give 6 stars if I could for the service from Roof Express. I contacted them when the insurance company claimed there was an issue with my roof. Habibi came out the same day I called, assessed the roof situation, determined it was in good condition and just needed regular maintenance. So, he proposed to prepare an inspection report for a very reasonable price. The report was comprehensive and detailed with amazingly clear photos. Most importantly, it worked! The insurance company is happy and so am I. Habibi was responsive, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. He definitely has earned a repeat customer. I will not hesitate to call Roof Express for my roofing needs in the future.

I worked with Habibi to get my flat roof replaced due to persistent leaking with all of SF's recent atmospheric rivers. Habibi walked through my house and after some discussion we agreed that a new roof would make the most sense. Roof Express had the most competitive pricing compared to a few other places we researched. The whole roof replacement took one day!! Better yet, Habibi made it a point to finish before more rain that was forecasted. The communication from his team and cleanup could have been a bit better (I found some nails and roofing material in my yard and driveway) but overall Habibi was great to work with. There was also a small issue after the roof was replaced that Habibi addressed in a timely manner. He really stands by his word and his product/service. I would highly recommend Roof Express!

These guys are amazing! I was having an issue with my insurance renewal for our San Francisco home. Long story short we needed a new roof. Habibi came over gave us a quote and got the work done in less than a week. This was the smoothest and easiest transaction possible. Permit was approved and we were reinstated with our insurance company. Thanks Roof express. .

Habibi and team were amazing. They were very responsive, coming out and providing a quote only a day after I first contacted them. The pricing was EXTREMELY competitive.

The team was super hardworking and they completed the job in just two days. It wasn't easy as I live someplace with difficult access and a very steeply pitched roof. It didn't stand in their way and they did an excellent job.

They were also able to help me with replacing a skylight and the surrounding water damaged wood.

We picked Roof Express to replace our 20-year-old roof because of their responsiveness and competitive price. They replaced our flat roof in Dec 2023, just before the rainy season. They also replaced an old skylight and fixed the chimney connected to our kitchen exhaust that rattled and leaked rain onto my stove during storms. They took care of all the paperwork and cleaned up every day really well. They kept us informed of the process by sending pictures of the old and new roofs. It has been a year since the work was done. We have had many windy storms, but no rattling on the roof or rain onto our stove. We are very happy with Roof Express and recommend them highly.

After struggling to find a responsible roofing service to provide me with a quote im so glad I found Express roofing. Their service is the best, the communication is At. their prices are great. Other roofing places i contacted left me hanging waiting for a quote, another roofing service gave me a very unreasonable price. Abu and his team were fantastic! From the initial consultation through project completion, Abu proved to be a thoughtful, thorough, professional partner - wonderful with communication and follow-through. The project included a full roof replacement, along with repairing a severe gash and several hairline cracks throughout my ceiling (due to rain leaks). Abu's crew did an excellent job tackling it all! They were also cautious in cleaning-up properly (i.e. ceiling dust internally, roof debris outside). Really appreciate this team. Highly recommend!

I needed to replace a tar & gravel roof. I rec'd several quotes and appreciated Habibi's professionalism, communication, and straight forward approach. After talking to him and researching modified bitumen, TPO, and tar & gravel, I decided to go with modified bitumen. All the mb estimates were within the same range, with the exception of tar & gravel. In addition, Habibi provided pictures of all the damaged areas with my estimate and then walked me through (via Facetime) after the job was done. He was the reason I went with Roof Express and I hope he is just as responsive should anything ever come up in the future. Thanks so much Habibi! FIVE STARS all around!!
