These guys are awesome! We had an issue with our chimney for years where smoke would come back in the house. Three different companies came out and none of them knew what the issue was and always said well maybe the fire you're building is just too big. These guys showed up and figured out the issue in five minutes! We have been loving our fire place and using it with no issue ever since! So grateful they used common sense and figured it out for us!

We can't say enough nice things about Swept Away! Our house had some trees blow down on it and the fireplace / chimney were whipped out. The building contractor didn't know what he was doing and didn't know the proper way to submit an estimate to the insurance company, so the insurance refused to pay for the fireplace and also refused to deal with the contractor.
After dealing for 15 months with a terrible contractor we fired him and called Swept Away, within a couple of days Swept Away had an approved estimate and with a couple of weeks we had a beautiful fireplace completely installed, no problems just big smiles all around.

The services received from Swept Away Chimney is just unparalleled. I had installed the rain cap last year and with recent storms it got loosened and was on the verge off falling off the chimney. I called the customer service and spoke to Megan and Hailey and they were just impeccable in taking care of my situation. A technician was sent to reinstall the cap promptly at no cost. Not yet, but will be using them after the new gas logs come in. Austin & Tyler came out and inspected my fireplace. In inspecting it, Austin advised me the gas line was leaking gas (which I knew from the way it would light previously). He shut it off from the outside control. He said the logs & burner were very old and not to today's code. I also knew that since this house is 20 years old. All in all, Austin & Tyler were very thorough and professional, recommending new logs, why they would be the best for my situation and budget.

My fireplace has not worked in two years because we were told the logs needed to be changed, the gas lines need to be replaced and the element where the flames was burning from was bad. Well, Spencer was able to debunk all of the above. He had the fireplace working within five minutes of being in the house. Not to mention, the remote control for the thermostat has not worked since we had the fireplace insert installed.
I have the team on speed dial for all of my fireplace needs and would highly recommend them to anyone. This company provided outstanding customer service from the time I called to the time the technician left the worksite. It's because of you, we have an operable fireplace for the winter. They came out for one job, but noticed an issue for which they provided a quote and also quoted additional work I requested once they were on site. Response time was very quick. Actually came out and went on the roof to check everything out, confirm if the cap was leaking and checked the condition of the chimney as well. Gave a free estimate to replace our chimney cap. They were willing to place a tarp we provided over the chimney because rain was in the forecast before we even decided to hire them.
The other company didn t even come out to see if the chimney cap was leaking or if we had other issues and gave us a price over the phone. We felt very comfortable and hired Swept Away. They gave us a 2 week lead time but were back out and had the new chimney cap and shroud installed in 9 calendar days. Great company to work with. Very impressed with everyone we dealt with onsite and in the office.
