Garrity Insulation

Our residential insulation services enhance home energy efficiency through modern solutions like formaldehyde-free fiberglass and spray foam. We specialize in attic, crawl space, and wall insulation that maintains consistent indoor temperatures while reducing utility bills. Each project includes a comprehensive assessment to identify problem areas and deliver tailored solutions that meet DOE standards.

For commercial properties, we implement insulation systems that improve HVAC efficiency and occupant comfort in office buildings, schools, and industrial facilities. Our fire-rated assemblies and air barrier solutions comply with strict energy codes while minimizing operational costs. Projects benefit from our team's collective 80+ years of construction and insulation experience across Central New Mexico.

Our spray foam insulation creates seamless thermal barriers that stop air and moisture infiltration in residential and commercial buildings. This high R-value solution strengthens structures while reducing energy consumption by up to 30%. Ideal for sealing ductwork, trailers, and challenging spaces like unvented attics, our chemically advanced foam meets modern efficiency requirements with minimal environmental impact.

Proper attic insulation prevents heat loss and lowers cooling costs by sealing air leaks and installing high-performance materials. We address both new construction and retrofit projects using fiberglass or spray foam solutions that meet regional climate demands. Our systems increase property value by improving energy efficiency and preventing ice dam formation in colder months.

We combat rising energy bills by insulating crawl spaces that often allow cold air infiltration. Our solutions maintain floor temperatures and reduce HVAC workload through sealed thermal barriers using formaldehyde-free materials. Proper insulation in these overlooked spaces prevents moisture accumulation and extends the life of structural components in residential and commercial properties.

With over 35 years in the insulation industry, Jose Resendiz leads Garrity Insulation's commercial operations. His expertise in large-scale applications ensures compliance with evolving energy codes while maintaining client satisfaction through transparent communication and quality control oversight.

We participate in PNM and NM Gas Company programs offering 40% rebates up to $1,000 for attic insulation upgrades, helping clients offset installation costs.

Spray foam creates seamless air/moisture barriers with the highest R-value per inch, reducing energy costs by 30%+ while strengthening structural integrity in residential and commercial buildings.

I have not had ANY other work on my house go this well! Jose came out and took a look so he could give me an estimate. I got the estimate the next day. I called to schedule, and they came out that same week! The following week, I received all the paperwork needed for rebates. This is how a business should be run!

Save the legwork; just hire these guys. I received several quotes to add blown fiberglass insulation to our attic. Garrity offered the best value, and all interactions were very professional. The estimator was able to offer me a ballpark figure over the phone, which was pretty close to his final estimate. He (Jose) even offered tips on other ways to help insulate the house, before I even hired them, which suggests to me that he truly cares about people being happy.

The men who blew the insulation managed to sneak into places that the other estimators deemed impossible. I can't wait until winter to notice the temperature difference, now that we have a nice warm blanket in the attic! (Although it should stay cooler in the summer, too!) Considering how rare it is, it's always touching to be treated respectfully, have a job done properly, and to see people take pride in their work.

I'm giving this five star review for two reasons. The first is because Garrity was the only insulation contractor to take on my project. The project consisted of three requirements, location, residential and crawl space. Garrity was the ONLY one in Albuquerque to meet these requirements. Trust me, I went down the internet search list, including Los Lunas. The second reason I'm giving Garrity Insulation a five star review is because they earned it. Jose Resendiz and Co were on point from the start, giving me an estimate one day after my request, staying in contact while I organize the project and being receptive to my start date. Garrity started immediately after my crawl space was remediated.

In the interest of fair reviewing, they did have a mechanical which set the project back a few days however I'm not going to hold that against them. Once fixed, Garrity came out at 7:30 am to Magdalena, NM for two straight days and finished. The guys did an awesome job! I'm elated with the outcome and so glad I used them. To anyone looking for an Insulation contractor I would certainly recommend Garrity Insulation Co.

I'm very happy with the work done by Garrity Insulation. Mr. Resendiz and his crew were very professional, courteous, prompt and pleasant to work with. I would recommend them!

Left the place a mess, including damaging some woodwork. When I called, they sent someone over right away to take a picture of the damage. A week later I hadn't heard anything so I called back. They sent someone else over who took pictures again, didn't apologize, and said "You have to understand that accidents happen. I guess we can send someone over to throw some putty in it." I told him I'd rather fix it myself and asked for a small refund. He agreed to an even smaller refund, which I'm still waiting for.

Jose, Carlos and the crew made good on a job which didn't go well the first time around. They stood behind their work and as a result, with foam on the roof and all the exterior walls under stucco, our gas bill for our modest house is almost nothing, and thanks to the insulation and white roof, we don't need heating or cooling for a couple months in the spring and fall. I would hire Garrity in a minute.

They did a great job insulating underneath my home. Very professional, on-time, and completed a large job in one day. Showed up when they said they would and thanked me for the business. Very competitive prices. I am very pleased and recommend this company.
