We had an amazing experience using Greater Houston Flooring to replace our wood floors throughout our home. Adam worked with us to find a high quality engineered wood that matched our aesthetic and budget. His team was extremely professional during the installation. They worked hard to get the project done on time, but paid extreme attention to detail at the same time so the work didn't feel rushed or sloppy.
They cleaned up after themselves and never left our property messy at the end of the day. On top of it all, they noticed a scratch throughout a few floorboards (not caused by them), and were very upfront and honest about it. I may have not noticed that for months or years, but they brought it to my attention. They redid that section the next day and all looks better than I could have imagined! Overall, we were impressed from beginning to end and we would recommend this company to anyone looking for new wood floors.

Adam and Sergio did an awesome job cleaning my floors. We had the house built and when we moved in there was what seemed like an oily substance on the floors ( which I'm sure was used by the cleaning crew). So three years later the floors looked worse. We had Adam come out and now the floors look brand new. I Love my floors now. Don't know why I waited so long. Thank you so much.

Greater Houston Flooring did a phenomenal job transforming our 60 year old, scratched and yellowed oak flooring. We had envisioned a floor that would look as close to raw wood as possible. Adam and his team worked hard to make that vision a reality, and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Its been 6 months since the work was done, and it still looks as good as the day it was completed. They are exceptionally easy to work with; additionally we found their pricing to be reasonable and competitive, and the work was done quickly and in the time quoted. Money very well spent. We're thankful!

I needed to have my hardwood floors refinished so I called Adam Zak with Greater Houston Flooring. He was quick to respond and knowledgeable on what was needed. We set a date for the work to be done and he kept in touch throughout the process. His workers arrived on time on that day and were courteous and professional. They explained what the steps were for removing the old finish and appling the new finish.
He even showed me their new dust removal system that eliminates most of the dust during the sanding process. It was a high tech solution that showed they were interested in keeping my house as clean as possible while doing a professional job. Each day they cleaned up before they left and made sure to let me know how they were progressing in the work. Since I was interested in learning how each step was done, I watched them throughout each day as they worked.
They were impressive in their attention to detail and application of the product. Once they were completed, I was very pleased with how it turned out. I was so happy to see the beauty of the hardwoods restored to new. I have attached a few picture showing the results.

I would highly recommend Greater Houston Flooring. The owner, Adam, is both responsive and knowledgeable. He and his crew (who are very experienced) refinished our wood floors. They also helped us work with insurance to replace some damaged flooring, documenting everything and patiently helping us work with our adjuster. Also, they even did a small subfloor repair for us free of charge. Adam helped us source replacement wood that was difficult to locate and accommodated our schedule to complete the project to our satisfaction.
He also followed up at project completion and inspected everything himself to make sure it was perfect. Adam and the crew are trustworthy and were careful to take care of our property throughout the process. I am so pleased with the quality of the work and plan to use their services again.

We have hired wood flooring "experts" 6 times over the years. There was no comparison between the various companies. GHF was head and shoulders above the others. You can rely on them to do it well and to do it right.

I highly recommend Greater Houston Flooring for any project small or big. They're extremely professional, timely, and overall great people. Thank you Adam and team! We love our floors!

Adam and his crew have done a wonderful job on our floors. We made the mistake of not having our floors refinished before we moved in, so coordinating the project was bit daunting, but this team made it easy. Adam gave us great advice and helped us split the project up to accommodate our schedules. We got quotes from multiple contractors and flooring businesses in town, and Greater Houston Flooring was easily one of the more competitive bids. If you are looking for good quality work, and a competitive price, GHF is a great choice.

Our experience with Greater Houston flooring exceeded our expectations. The team did an excellent job, and our floor came out beautiful.
Adam had great suggestions in matching my existing flooring which was a huge help due to the existing floor was almost twenty years old and the style had been discontinued. This was the most important task in selection process when considering the expansion of the wooden floor into other areas. He made it very effortless. They even finished ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Greater Houston Flooring, it was a great experience from start to finish.

We had greater houston flooring out recently to add hardwood flooring to a couple of our upstairs bedrooms. They originally installed our hallway and master bedroom several years ago, and that flooring was no longer available. Adam was able to track down a material that was extremely close to what we had originally installed. He shopped around and brought the samples to us, we never had to leave the house.
It was a breeze. The quality of craftsmanship is first rate. The whole team had great attention to detail, and we are very impressed with the final product. This company does not cut corners, and is in no hurry to get in and out. All of the craftsmen involved had a great personality, the were extremely friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend Greater Houston Flooring.

We hired Greater Houston Flooring at our home to remove and replace all the flooring in our kitchen, living area and hallways after we had water damage that destroyed our hardwood floors. Adam and the entire crew at GHF exceeded our expectations every step of the way and completed our project ahead of when we agreed upon. Not only that, but the quality of the work was above and beyond what we had hoped for. Adam worked hand in hand directly with our insurance adjuster at times and made the whole process much easier on us.
He even purchased some special testing equipment for tests that our insurance company required on his own dime. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality of work at very competitive pricing.

I had a challenging floor restoration project since near my former builder or I could not find the specification information on my 8 year old wood floor in our records. This is clearly a situation where a truly experienced expert is essential. Adam Zak at Greater Houston Flooring Services was able to find a very good match for the 8 year old and blend in the new boards to the existing vintage wood floor panels.
I have already recommended Greater Houston Flooring Services to several friends and will definitely use GHFS for my future flooring needs. Excellent expertise, quality craftsmanship at competitive prices.
