Valera and Svetlana are the kind of people you want to invite into your home. We had our hardwood floors refinished and in adjacent rooms tile and carpet removed with new hardwood installed to match. The craftsmanship and care with which this was done is unparalleled. Our floors old and new match perfectly. I was unsure of the color I wanted to go with and they were instrumental in helping me achieve the exact look I wanted, by interpreting my vision and providing me with the actual choices put down on my own floors.

They were patient and helpful talking through the pros and cons and accommodating to my requests. The flush wood vents are so pretty. We LOVE our floors! Valera's workmanship is truly a work of art. Doing things how they should be done and never cutting corners is a rare quality to find today. His commitment to detail and quality surpassed our expectations. While they were not the cheapest estimate we had, we feel they are definitely the BEST in regards to quality, honesty, and value! Our floors were done when they said they would be and even more beautiful than I imagined. Almost a year later, I still find myself admiring them daily.

I couldn't be more pleased with my hardwood floors! Water damage necessitated an extensive drying and repair process that was thoroughly evaluated and carried out with attention to every detail. Valeriu and Svetlana Tomescu are true professionals, committed to getting every detail right, and worked as hard as anyone I've ever engaged. They left me fully informed about caring for my floors and completely satisfied, as the results are nothing short of stunning.

Wow! What a fantastic experience it was to work with European Fine Hardwood Floors. I purchased a home while living out of state. My parents were present to receive quotes for having our floors refinished. We chose EFH due to the timeliness of quote, the professionalism displayed at the time of providing the quote and the information provided during estimation re: the system used to refinish the floors. EFH made the whole process simple and easy even from 1000 miles away.

There were multiple finishes in the home and significant damage to the finishes; the floors now look brand new! The dustless system that they use also kept the house clean while they were completing the project. They took great care to repair several transitions in the house as well as floor vents. I would recommend EFH to anyone looking for a high-quality refinishing job. THANK YOU!

I've used European Hardwood Floor Refinishing on two different houses. Valera is a True Professional Craftsman at his trade. It is not often you find someone that is so conscience about the work they do. He signs his work by doing an outstanding job. Everything he did from redoing the stairs to redoing the floors was done with excellence!

Val was amazing! He refinished our entire first floor and did a fantastic job. He takes so much pride in his work and it will be done to perfection. Val is also one of the hardest workers we've ever used. You are making a huge mistake if you don't use European Hardwood Floors. Service: Flooring repair

Couldn't be happier with my newly refinished floors. Valera, Svetlana, and Alan were a pleasure to work with, and I am thrilled with the result. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and their knowledge about proper restoration and repair is admirable. I simply would not let anyone else touch my floors! Hire Valera to get it done right the first time. You will not be disappointed!

Valera and his wife did a wonderful job refinishing our hardwood floors. We have a walkway across our balcony that joins two other bedrooms (which we decided not to have refinished), and he matched the stain perfectly with the old stain. We loved the dustless part of this project. Valera and his wife were very professional and friendly. We would recommend them to anyone.

Valera and his wife are amazing and kind professionals. They refinished original hardwood floors throughout a house I'm flipping and installed new hardwood floors in the kitchen for a seamless transition. The entire house looks perfect! They are a reliable and hardworking family who have extremely high standards of their work. There is no mess when they work. They won't rest until the job is perfect and complete! Val and his crew did a beautiful job on our living room, dining room and 2 staircases. He is a super hard worker and so is his crew. We love our floors and would highly recommend him for any hardwood floor project. Val took extra time and attention to try to match our existing hardwood floor and grain that was almost 40 years old in our entryway and den. We asked for a high gloss finish, which was unusual, and Val did that for us and it looks absolutely gorgeous! We've had lots of compliments on our floors.

Five Stars to European Fine Hardwood Floors. These people know what they are doing, and quality is their theme song. From beginning to end, I was counseled in the right direction and have a beautiful floor as a result. They were prompt, clean, polite, and most of all competent. I would hire them again in a heart beat. Good quality work from good quality people.

I have no doubt that he cared for our home just as he would his own. I have already recommended him to friends and co-workers, and I will continue to do so without hesitation.

Valera and Svetlana just finished installing hardwood flooring in our living and dining rooms. We couldn't be happier with the work! Their craftsmanship, attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. Their price was competitive and they finished the job on time. We highly recommend them. An added bonus: No dust!

Valera and his wife, Svetlana, did an absolutely beautiful job laying new hardwood and sanding and refinishing all of the hardwood floors in my home. He also fixed some of the subfloor which was damaged from a water leak (thanks to our dog who has learned how to turn on faucets). Valera is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. They were professional, always on time, reasonably priced and use quality equipment.

When they say they use a dustless system, they are not kidding. We lived in the house during the process, and there was no dust at all! I highly recommend European Fine Hardwood Floors and would definitely use them again.

I recommend European Fine Hardwoods for the quality of their work, their friendly professionalism, and their exemplary work ethic! We bought a beautiful condo in a premier downtown high rise and the only negative was that the floors were scratched and peeling. European Fine Hardwoods sanded and refinished the Brazilian Cherry to a natural satin finish that is gorgeous! The other awesome benefit of using European Fine Hardwoods was no dust! Their total Bona dust containment system meant no masking of cabinets or appliances was needed. I totally endorse them without reservation!

European Fine Hardwood Floors installed and site-finished hardwood flooring throughout 2/3rd's of our home. Valera is a craftsman and perfectionist - going to great lengths to make sure every single step is done expertly, and the quality of work and final results far exceeded our expectations. Our hardwood was installed just after heavy rains and Valera took extra measures to make sure our subfloors were properly prepped.

Always on time, always keeping us updated, and NO dust in the house. I am confident in stating European Fine Hardwood Floors quality of work is unrivaled. When we are ready for the rest of our flooring, we would never consider anyone else for our hardwood flooring. I cannot recommend highly enough! Both Valera and Svetlana are also two of the nicest people you will meet. Thank you for our gorgeous floors!

European Fine Hardwoods just refinished the floors in our house, and we couldn't be happier! They were in really rough shape, and we were worried it would be a tough job for somebody. They made them look brand new, though! There was no dust, and they were in communication with us the whole time, making sure we were happy. HIGHLY recommend!

Cant say enough good things about this company!! If I could give them 10 stars if I would! They took our floors from a disaster to perfection!

We had a water leak that ruined our hard wood floors in the kitchen. As a result, our entire first floor had to be sanded down, stained and sealed. Valeria not only ensured that the floor was dry enough to do the work, he replaced the warped wood. Our floor was a mixture of white and red oak, making it difficult to achieve a consistent color to the stain. Valeria made everything match perfectly. My wife and I are deeply impressed with the quality of work, professionalism and attention to detail. Valeria, and his wife, are incredibly hard workers. They got our house done ahead of schedule, for a reasonable price and the floors look amazing.

Valera and Svetlana did an amazing job on the floors in our new home! They removed carpet to add new hardwood, fixed existing hardwood in a room that didn't match the rest of the house, and sanded and stained the entire house flawlessly and without mess. They are very efficient and finished much sooner than expected. They are delightful people with an impressive work ethic who always went the extra mile and gave us daily updates.
Valera and Svetlana are extremely knowledgeable about their craft and I highly recommend them!

I can not say enough good things about Valeria and European Fine Hardwood Floors. He is a true craftsman with an attention to detail and is dedicated to achieving the very best result. He's very accessible and most of all, he does exactly what he says he'll do. I've been renovating a house for the past year and have dealt with several contractors and sub-contractors and I've NEVER had to worry about Valeria getting the job done and done right. I will always recommend him and would not hesitate to use him again.

I can't say enough good things about European Fine Hardwood Floors. About a year ago my father passed away and my mother decided to sell her home this spring. The hardwood floors in my mothers home had a tired dated look. We decided to have the floors sanded and stained to get the home ready to put on the market. I met with Valeria and his wife for a consultation when I was visiting Knoxville from Los Angeles.

I had complete confidence they would do a great job when I met them. The floors have been completed and they did a wonderful job. A lot of time and attention to detail was made and the floors look great. I would highly recommend European Fine Hardwood Floors.

Valera and his crew did a wonderful job on our floors, plus they are super nice folks to work with. We renovated our kitchen and moved an island, so the floors underneath where a totally different color. He sanded them down (No dust! No kidding!) Then he refinish them to match the rest of our house. He did such a good job you can hardly tell where they join together. They are beautiful! Thank you for a professional job well done.

We highly recommend Valera and his crew at European Fine Hardwood Floors! We installed new hardwood in our new construction home and asked them to finish them. The knowledge, expertise, and quality craftsmanship was above and beyond what we expected. They worked with us on schedule, desire of product, color, and finish. They tested colors when we had difficulty deciding and showed us various ways they could apply the product to get different looks on our floor.

The use of the dust collecting system, and the hard work of the crew, kept the work site always clean. We could not be happier with the finished product! And they completed the job earlier than originally expected. They were always on time, worked until the job was done, and were quick to respond to our communications. Very professional crew.

Valera and Andre did a fabulous job on our floors. We had about 400 sq ft of existing red oak in our foyer, hallway, partial dining room, and staircase in a color we didn't like. We had them install new unfinished red oak to the rest of the downstairs and refinish it all to match in a fresh new color - now it looks like a brand new home! They were very accommodating to our schedule and to any issues we came across during the project. Oh, and opt for the flush wood floor registers.they really look sharp! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Using Valeria for our floor renovation was a no brainer when my Husband and I purchased our new home. This is the second home that he has worked on for us and it was truly a great experience. Valeria, his family, and crew are quick to respond to any questions and attentive to the needs of the customer. Their craftsmanship, equipment, and techniques are first class. The floors turned out beautiful and we are so excited to move into our new home with a fresh new look.

I would recommend him to anyone. No matter the scale or scope, Valeria's European Fine Hardwood Floors will do amazing work that you will be pleased with for years and years to come. I recommend making a decision quickly because before long with his growing business you won't be able to get him on your schedule. A+ on every mark!!!

Valera is wonderful craftsman! We are extremely pleased with our new floors. I would highly recommend. I would be glad to show you our floors if you are considering using Valera!

We love our new floor! We have wanted to replace carpet with hardwood floors for many years, but I never cared for the look of prefinished floors that everyone was trying to sell us. I knew I wanted traditional hardwood floors, and was so glad we discovered European Fine Hardwood Floors! From our first meeting to the final finish, working with Valera was a pleasure. The quality and workmanship is exceptional, and everything was completed on schedule as promised. Finding a skilled craftsman is rare enough, but to find one that is genuinely kind and concerned for our satisfaction was a gift. Our floors are even more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Highly recommend European Fine Hardwood Floors! Very professional, do great quality work, and are very knowledgeable about products and hardwood floors. I loved the variety of stains available and how our home was left so clean! Thank you for your awesome work! We love the way our refinished engineered floor looks now!!

Had a great experience with European Fine Hardwood Floors. A family company who I was happy to have in my home. Great quality work, they take no shortcuts. They worked very long hours for several days to get the floors finished so our remodeling project could move forward. We switched up the plan on them and asked them to retile our laundry room, it was done very promptly and looks just as good as the hardwood. If you want quality work done and it's important to you to have people in your home you can trust, I would highly recommend this company. We won't use anyone else

I would definitely recommend European Fine Hardwood Floors to anyone! They worked late into the night to get our floors done when we needed them. Hardworking, honest, dependable, and quick to respond when needed. We are very pleased with our refinished floors!! Great, quality work!
