A feeling of durability. MetFab Heating has been in business for over 33 years - the same owner. The History Tim Feuz, the owner of MetFab Heating, started as a sheet-metal worker back in the early 1970's. In October 1981, he ventured out on his own and started MetFab Heating. He incorporated and moved the business to it's current location in 1987.In 1993, a major remodel increased the facilities to 9000 square feet including a full sheet metal shop, warehouse, and show room. Tim still manages overall operation of his company and even crafts some challenging sheet metal fittings from time to time. A ductless heat pump (DHP), also referred to as a mini-split system, are the new electric heat. Studies have shown that adding them to homes with electric resistance heat (wall heaters, baseboard and ceiling or floor cable) can reduce customer heating costs by 30% to 50%. They can save 15-20% over traditional ducted heat pump systems where the ducts are run in unconditioned space.

Along with natural gas furnaces, heat pump and hybrid heat systems, MetFab also works with ductless heat pump and electric heating systems for residential homes or businesses. A natural gas furnace can help reduce electrical usage up to 50% and, coupled with an 80% to 98.5% AFUE rating, can even reduce the amount of natural gas needed.
