Hello, I'm John Padilla and welcome to John Padilla Plumbing. I was trained as a plumber while serving in the United States Air Force for over 4 years. I continued in the plumbing field as a service technician for both residential and commercial plumbing in the San Diego area for several years.
I then joined the Contractor State License Board where I worked as an investigator, dealing in construction defects and violations of Contractor License Law for over 10 years. I then re-entered the private sector in the plumbing field as a general manager. All together I have over 35 years of experience in the plumbing field.

My water heater stopped working. Adam, a manager, was prompt and polite and wore shoe covers and took time to ask lots of questions to suss out the problem. He checked all the wiring and discovered the plumber who had installed the tank made a simple mistake. He fixed it and when I asked to pay him he only charged me the minimum. Many plumbers wouldn't have looked so extensively at the wiring, would have assumed the problem was with the heating element, and I would be out hundreds of dollars. He just insisted it's his job to be here to help. And so he did. I definitely recommend John Padilla Plumbing!

Recently, I needed to have a toilet AND a garbage disposal replaced, so I contacted John Padilla Plumbing, as my previous plumber had not quite met my expectations. The plumber assigned to the project (Brandon) was very cordial and professional, and he thoroughly explained what needed to be done. Repairs were completed in a timely manner, and he made sure the bathroom and kitchen were clean before leaving. Chris came to my house today to check a leak that I found a couple of days before. After many different quotes from different companies, I found this company to be the most honest. Chris told me that if this was an active leak then the spot would be growing. Instead he mentioned that it may be structural.( Which someone is coming to look at today.) Also the pricing for opening my wall and checking out the leak was more affordable than others. I would recommend this company and use them in the future.

We are thriled with the work that Jalen and Lindell did in our plumbing repairs. We were leaving town in a few days and had a bad shower cartridge and valve that we need fixed fast. JP plumbing hasn't let me down! I've never had to wait an obscene amount of time for non-emergent services. Perhaps, it's what the need was at the time or my schedule...couldn't tell you because I've always been pleasantly surprised by their service I never remember if there was ever an inconvenience. The price hurts from time to time BUT I've yet to regret it and believe it's standard for San Diego. Also, I subscribe to their membership which is worth the cost not only because of the priority service but the peace of mind.

Ive become accustomed to expecting less when looking to hire a professional to work on a problem at my home. I have little interest in trying to do a fix or repair, that I know is beyond me. But some of the professionals that Ive hired in the past make me consider trying to do it. Let me tell you from my first call to John Padilla Plumbing, I knew they were going to be different. They have put the Professionals in charge. What a delight. My call on a Sunday evening was answered by a person. Who essentially triaged my list of things I needed done, and we agreed that everything could wait. The wait was one day and a technician, Mr. Knox, called when I was told someone would call, and arrived when he said he would. He then proceeded to ask me what I wanted and why I wanted it. He made excellent suggestions as to hold off on some things, a downright no on others, and do other things that I had not planned on doing. Mr Knox listened and explained his reasoning. At no point did I feel pressure to go with the extra work. He gave me time to consider and ask lots of questions. After being told a price for all the work I asked ok so when could we arrange for it to start? Mr. Knox told me that two other technicians would be out in the next hour or so. But no more than two hours. The technicians arrived within 50 minutes and got right to work. They were here the entire day, leaving after 5 pm but left everything spotless. There is still one more project to be completed and they are coming back early in the morning. I have rarely felt this comfortable and trusting of someone working in my home. I cant sing their praises highly enough. What a remarkable organization.

I called the Padilla Plumbing Company and left a message for an estimate on a heater replacement. Padilla company responded very quickly and we discussed the situation. I set up an appointment and there employee Julio arrived on time as estimated. After reviewing the situation, we discussed the work needed. Before I approved he called his management and they gave me some options.
I discussed the options and then proceeded with the work to be done. The Padilla company is very good with follow ups, communication and feedback. Over the weekend our main line was clogged. We called John Padilla Pluming and they took great care of us. Edgar was a life saver. I needed a plumber to fix my clogged kitchen sink and the reviews for John Padilla Plumbing caught my attention. I booked online and called to confirm. My appointment for today was confirmed and Angel and Julio showed up sooner than my original window. They cleared the clog, removed the garbage disposal, and installed a new kitchen faucet that I provided.
Both Angel and Julio did an amazing job at keeping the area clean and dry. Cody was also friendly and polite during my phone conversation with him. I already recommended them to a friend and will definitely call on them for any future plumbing needs.

I was very impressed from the first initial call U made to John Padilla Plumbing. The dispatch person was able to locate someone out in the field and he did say that someone would call me and they sure did. The nicest man by the name of Randy, immediately addressed my concerns after I explained to him what was the problem I the shower. I scheduled them to come out.
They called and gave me a 20 minute time. Let me tell you Randy and Jose came in and were so professional and got right to the problem. They cleaned up after the work was done. So we had an emergency leak and was informed to call John Padilla plumbing inc so we did, they came the next day on time and very professional. Brandon and Tristan were amazing. We had a plumbing/drain leak that was coming out from the ceiling so they had to cut through that and fix the leak. They were really fast and efficient. They didn't leave a mess or anything and cleaned up after They also informed us about what was happening, took pics of everything and was able to send them to us no problem. These guys were absolutely great from scheduling to execution. We woke up in a panic because our water heater had been leaking from the bottom all night. We called that morning and they were at our door with a brand new water heater that afternoon. Julio, the technician, was super friendly and very attentive to the work that we wanted done. Our bathroom sink began to flood in our apartment and immediately we called our project manager who then called John Padilla Plumbing and Randy and Danny were there within the hour to fix the issue. Heard dripping behind walls, David came to check it out. Very professional and very informative. The next day, Fernando and Angel came in to inspect the wall, turns out there was a big gap from the shower spout to the wall which caused water to go through. they immediately came in the next day to repair it. Manolo was on time and called when on the way and he found a commercial parking place downtown. I liked that there was a picture of him which helped me identify him easily at the front door. He was very careful with my white limestone floors. Clogged drains are not fun or leaking sink stoppers, but Manolo fixed everything quickly and left no mess. Piece of cake!

John Padilla was very timely in sending Edgar to our home to repair an emergency drain clog. We just bought the house, so we were very concerned when both our kitchen and bathroom drains were backing up. Edgar was efficient in his work to unclog our drain and was extremely quick in diagnosing the issue. He took the time to explain not only his repair work but also preemptive measures we could take to prevent the problem from arising again.

Fantastic work by Edgar and Tristen. I had a severely clogged kitchen sink that ran into the mainline for the bathroom sink and shower. I don't know the last time the line was serviced, the building is over 50 years old so there was an incredible amount of build up and a very unique drain system that failed miserably. The whole house smelled terrible. Edgar and Tristen were very professional.
They quickly diagnosed and solved the issue in less than 4 hours. The end result was better than I expected! I was extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend these two professionals to anyone with a plumbing problem.

I had such a great experience with JPP! Our technicians, Edgar and Tristan, were super professional and efficient. I scheduled our services/repairs during my daughter's nap and they were super mindful of being quiet coming in to replace our garbage disposal, which was so sweet. It also was replaced much faster than I anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise.
They also replaced a damaged main water line and hydro jetted our main line along with the bathroom and kitchen line to clear all sludge and debris. The service was efficient, they were so sweet to our family, and at the end of the day the value of the service is unmatched. Highly recommend!

Had a slow leak behind the wall in my bathroom, my HOA came out to inspect and left a giant hole in the wall but called John Padilla Plumbing. Randy was the tech who came out, he was early, efficient, respectful and even helped out with cleaning up when he was all done. Our unit is set up that when he needed to shut off the water it shuts off to 15 other units as well, so he was conscious of this as well which I thought was nice. Randy was also respectful of my pets, I have a dog who is not a fan of new people and him respecting that was huge. My pipe is repaired, no leaking, and both hot and cold water are working wonderfully.

Nick and Ricardo replaced my 32 year old water heater yesterday. We had a leak and they showed up almost immediately. These two were professional and informative. I had a few questions for them and they were more than happy to oblige. I would recommend them highly. Expedient and they even cleaned up after they left. Who knew getting a water heater replaced could be a pleasant experience. Thanks Guys.

John Padilla Plumbing is the best plumbing company in town! A friend of mine lost her watch and rings down a drain, we thought, so John sent his guys out to drain the sump pump first, and on a rainy night I might add! When the items were not there he sent out another gentleman in the morning and looked in the pipes with a camera and there it was 8 ft down!

We had a plumbing leak underground due to some tree roots cracking the plumbing lines and causing a major leak at our new house. John Padilla Plumbing used some high tech devices to see through the plumbing lines and pinpoint where the crack was located. They were very prompt and reasonable with their pricing.

This is long overdue. We had an issue with our A/C, it wasn't cooling. I had some guy with white gloves come out the year before and charge a considerable amount of $$$ to recharge the A/C. 9 months later and the A/C wasn't cooling again. This time I contacted John Padilla Plumbing and Justin came out the next day. He was very professional and did a great job diagnosing the issue.
