Borders
Report
Numerous Boarders, Inlays, and Medallions are available to give your flooring a unique customized look. These hand cut inlays, boarders and medallions enhance hardwood floors as a decorative touch to plank flooring and parquets. Custom medallions, borders and panels are also available to match any engineered hardwood floor.
Parquet
Report
Parquet refers to a type of hardwood flooring that is created by taking very small slats of wood, and arranging them in distinct, repeating patterns. The wooden pieces are generally formed into tiles of varying shapes, and then installed in such a way that the individual pieces all contribute to a greater, concerted pattern that stretches across the entire floor.
Engineered
Report
Engineered hardwood flooring is real wood flooring, but is more stable than solid wood. It is less susceptible to shrinking and expanding with changes in temperatures and humidity while the multiple wood layers in engineered hardwood make it very durable. Engineered Hardwood is built up of layers of wood. It consists of three to ten layers, called plies, which are glued together.
Hardwood
Report
Solid Hardwood is 100% hardwood milled from lumber. As a natural material, hardwood reacts to changes in its setting, like moisture and extreme temperatures, which cause solid wood to shrink or expand. All solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished if needed over the years. Solid hardwood is not recommended for installation below ground level or in bathrooms.
