We worked with James River Construction on an extensive renovation and addition. James River's craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail are all first class. I'll also highlight their communication, honesty, and integrity. We would absolutely use them for another project of our own and highly recommend them to anyone. Our finished product exceeded expectation, and we are really enjoying the renovation James River Construction created for us (which feels like a brand new home). Thanks again to the entire JRC team.

We would absolutely recommend James River Construction for any of your renovation needs. JRC recently completed a 7 month renovation of our home, and we are extremely pleased with the results and our overall experience. Through careful and thoughtful planning, they turned what could have potentially been a nightmare - living in a home under renovation with two small children - into a manageable process. Ken, Adam, Steve and the rest of the team were professional, trustworthy and responsive every step of the way. Thank you JRC, for our beautiful renovation!

We worked with James River on a recent kitchen renovation which started as the pandemic started ramping up last year. Despite many groups shutting down their activity, James River remained on schedule from start to finish. The project manager overseeing our project was present every day and responsive no matter how big or small the request was. From the top of the team to the subcontractors, we felt everyone that worked on the house was respectful, talented, and focused on helping us achieve a great outcome. We would use James River again in the future and remain appreciative of their time and effort.

We completed a two-story home addition and large kitchen renovation project with Adam, Ken and the JRC team in 2019 and could not be happier with the results. They understood our goals, stayed within our budget, and completed the 6-month job on time. The project was beautifully executed and is exactly what we envisioned. We loved working with JRC on this project, will happily use them for any future home renovations, and would recommend them without hesitation.

I contacted James River Construction during a a true nightmare of a renovation. President Ken Felts came out to our home and put our minds at ease by walking us through the process and outlining what James River could do to help. Ultimately, we had to put the project on hold but I felt safe and secure moving forward with James River after vetting a number of other contractors. He even rolled up his sleeves in 90 degree weather to assist us in moving refrigerator to a second story apartment. I won't forget his act of kindness and I look forward to working with James River in the future.
