12 Stones Electric is owned and operated by master electrician Dan Hankner who lives in Davenport, Iowa with his amazing wife Megan and wonderful daughter Macy. I'd love to make some grand statement about how one day I looked out upon the Quad Cities, and how I beheld such reckless electrical work and customer oppression, but that would be as false as it would be ridiculous.

Truth is, I started my apprenticeship straight out of high school. I served my 5 years and 10,000 hours OJT as an apprentice under some excellent electricians while I spent my nights in class. However, only a few months after I passed my test and became a licensed Journeyman, the company I was working for went bankrupt, and I found myself newly married and without a job.

While we specialize in residential, we work in many small business and even farms! We work mostly standard business hours Monday through Friday. Although we do have overtime rates for emergency or immediate service requests, we are flexible and will work with the customer's schedule to meet their specific needs. If you have any questions, our phone and email is always open.
