We visit your property to talk about the project, advising on obtaining planning permission and listed building consent, and the likely budget and timetable. Your project will evolve through sketch drawings until we reach a scheme that broadly fullfills your desires, then we will be ready to begin discussions with the Planning Authority.

A high proportion of our work involves the refurbishment, alteration and extension of historic buildings, these are very often listed. We have worked on all grades of Listed Building including Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 2*. We aim to unlock the potential of historic buildings, making them useful and sustainable, whilst respecting the important qualities they may have.

At Apex Architecture we will encourage any design solutions that maximise the potential benefits of the surrounding natural environment. Buildings can have a positive effect on the natural environment. Rather than discussing sustainability as reducing damage, a building project with careful landscaping can, in fact, give back more than it takes away.
