Tree Removal
Stein Tree Service provides professional tree removal for unsafe, diseased, or obstructive trees. Using advanced equipment and safety protocols, our certified arborists ensure efficient removal while minimizing property damage. Emergency services address storm-damaged trees promptly to restore safety and accessibility.
Plant Health Care
Our Plant Health Care (PHC) programs focus on preventive maintenance through soil testing, fertilization, and pest management. Certified arborists create customized plans to enhance tree vitality, prevent disease, and address seasonal threats like emerald ash borer infestations using environmentally friendly methods.
Emergency Storm Damage
Available 24/7, our emergency storm damage service handles fallen trees, broken limbs, and debris removal. Equipped with radio-dispatched trucks and cutting tools, we prioritize rapid response to minimize property damage and restore normalcy after severe weather events in residential and commercial settings.
Tree Trimming
Precision trimming enhances tree structure and health while reducing storm risk. Our arborists use climbing techniques and aerial lifts to remove deadwood and shape canopies safely, avoiding bark damage and promoting long-term growth patterns that maintain landscape aesthetics.
Risk Assessment
Regular inspections identify structural weaknesses, pest infestations, and disease symptoms early. Certified risk assessors evaluate tree stability, recommend corrective actions like cabling, and mitigate hazards to protect property owners from potential liabilities associated with failing trees.

Highly recommend! Matt is super-responsive and estimates the job with great detail. There are no surprises and they care for their customers yard. It was supposed to rain when the job was scheduled and we easily rescheduled for less than a week later. Very happy with the company's leadership and in-office staff and the crew as well. All around positive experience and would use Stein Tree again.

Critical:Professionalism Dropped several large branches on our house today while doing service for our neighbors, complete unprofessionals. Only did they start dropping branches away from our house and properly using ropes after I had to yell at them for being lazy!

I had 5 trees cut down and many stumps ground. Fantastic experience. Very reasonable price. Kind employees and Jeff is very responsive in communication. Don't look anywhere else if you need tree work.

Excellent service, above and beyond! I called Stein Tree to come out and check my beech tree. It's big and old and I love it, except it was scratching my windows and looming over the roof quite badly in a few spots. They came out and gave me an estimate the very next day with no contact. It was a month before they could get out, but I wasn't in a huge hurry and it wasn't an emergency! They also told me from the beginning it would be about three weeks, so four wasn't a hardship.
The guys who came were AMAZING. I asked them if they would confirm a branch would hold the swing I had literally got in that day. They agreed to check and then just hung it up for me! Kiddo has played on that swing every day since and the tree looks AMAZING. Thanks so much y'all.

Thanks for operating during the pandemic. Birtch growing little too tall was starting to tug at the gutters. No contact estimate, Jeff drove by and emailed me the quote. 20% less than another company. And another company didn't even show up to give an estimate. Will use again. Crew came out, asked me specifics and got to work. 30 min later it was all set. Asked me out to verify the work. No issues.

Just had 3 dying trees removed before they became a problem. Jeff showed up when he said he would and was prompt with his quote. The same with the team. They showed up Monday as promised and worked safely and efficiently. They cleaned the area and patched any divots the falling limbs left in my lawn. I'm very pleased with their work and professionalism. Definitely recommended!
