I think it's one of the friendliest hardware stores I've ever been to in San Antonio! I don't know if it's run by women or not but they do a wonderful job and know their stuff.

They have nice stuff but I was very uncomfortable being in a store where the employees do not all wear masks nor do they enforce masks. I would have liked to support a smaller hardware store rather than big box but thats unacceptable. Do better.

Thankful that they were able to help me by having 2 different items that big box stores didn't carry, also LOVE that they dont wear masks and arent blind sheep like many brainwashed people scared of the flu that masks dont protect from anyways. Great job not hindering your immune systems and breathing freely like we should! Happy to keep supporting this store and will see you all again soon! MASKS DONT WORK! STAY WOKE!

Best hardware store in town for hard to find things. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Always friendly and very informative. Have recommended many times, my friend told me about this place when I couldn't find an A/C filter anywhere in town.

San Antonio is SO fortunate to have a place like Johnnie Chuoke's! Their line of merchandise is amazing and their staff is both skilled and So incredibly helpful! I relied on Paul's expertise in 3 different departments. He was knowledgeable in each one. So much better than a big box store where the help might be one job removed from dropping out of high school. Truly an old style hardware store where there are many departments with pros in each one. I didn't even get to the gift department! Everyone needs to go to Johnnie Chuoke's at least once a week!
