Hutter Architects provides architectural services for projects ranging from very large to small, newly built or remodeled, for residential or business, for the end-user or investor. In some cases our clients are familiar with construction projects and other times they are not.

Whatever the nature and scope of the project, our most important task is to partner with you to take your vision and refine it to the point that it is completely captured in a set of drawings.Our process additionally includes breaking the project down into component parts so it can be effectively and efficiently managed with the builder.

Design Development

Report

In the Design Development Phase the ideas and design features from the previous phase are captured in just one floor plan scheme. If there is exterior work, this phase also develops the desired look of the exterior including the roof and window layout. We then meet with you to review this scheme and make final revisions as necessary.

Construction Documents

Report

The Construction Document Phase involves very intense work on our part. In fact, most of the hours we spend on the entire project happen in this phase. At this point we take your approved final Design Development drawings and create detailed drawings and specifications that the contractor uses during construction.

Programming

Report

We begin the Programming Phase by interviewing you about the overall project as you envision it. The conversation covers such things as the size of the project, its purpose, the number of people using the space, the number and types of rooms desired, your tastes and style, etc.
